Egret
I'll be running the Detroit Marathon this weekend. While looking through the beautiful sights of Detroit that I'll be going through, it appears that I'll be running through part of the Red Dawn set. The hate will keep me warm during the run. evil_gop_liars
The real sights of Detroit. I heard the tag line for the remake is "This time we let the Russians have it"
Furd
I did something a little crazy, well stupid, a short time ago. I was an extra in a movie. It was miserable. I was there all day. In the July heat. For minimum wage. With a bunch of doofi that thought that they were going to be discovered. I wouldn't cross the street (or deviate from my marathon path) to look in on a movie set. Ursa Majoris
Exactly - no good can come from this. I guess there are remakes that have been better than the original but I can't instantly recall one.

Ursa Majoris
The Fly? The Thing? Yep and definitely yep, except the Thing was almost a totally different story.
Egret
I guess I ran by it as I ran the race, but I have no idea what might have been a "set". There were plenty of other spots on the race that I would've picked if they were looking for bombed out areas.
