BIGDAWGS2
Would of said Brown but, injuries scare me. Julio will be a beast, Hopkins top 5, AP just to old for #1 pick. There isn't a lock stud RB except maybe Gurley as top 5. Who is the top 3? Brown,Gurley and?

Like one month ago you were calling everyone a fool for saying that Gurley was a top-5 pick and you wouldn't take him until the 3rd round...
BIGDAWGS2
I've been thinking about what's available for RB. Besides AP and Bell all RB drop out of top 5 for me. Gurley has turned into a top 12 in standard league but, D Johnson is much more valuable in PPR IMO. WR should dominate in most first rounds. D Thomas will never be the stud again imo with Brock at QB. I personally wouldn't take Gurley until 3rd because I only play PPR.

BIGDAWGS2
Bell can't win you a championship if he can't play a full season. Bell will be one of those what if guys.
Montana is da Man
I'd only take Bell or Brown at #
Shorttynaz
It's hard to not like what Freeman did this season. He was the top fantasy RB through like the first 8 or 10 weeks or something like that..
BIGDAWGS2
Freeman is a top 10 option in PPR. If you have the last pick maybe if he's there.

Hey at least it wasn't on the 1st page And wasn't trying to be snarky, there's just some good responses in there so would hate for all that work to go for naught.

darin3
But honestly, I don't think there's a "lock" #1. Really depends on your league scoring, starting requirements, owner tendencies, personal preference, etc. I'm of the mindset that you can build a nice stable of RBs with upside in the middle rounds and taking mega-stud WRs early is the way to go. That said I would take Brown #1 in PPR formats and would see what TE or WR2 were available to me at the 2nd/3rd turn.

WildTurkey
I'll gladly let someone else have the #1 but if I'm stuck....and it's 20 more picks till the next ... gotta get a reliable impact player with guaranteed points every week. Assuming Brown looks healthy at all, it's gotta be him. Maybe Julio. Heck maybe Cam depending on your scoring. Gotta get somebody because pick #20 is gonna be milquetoast or a real reach...
