You play for rings.  Only one of the choices has 3.

And I suppose that Kellen Winslow Sr (no matter what his current issues are) or Tony Gonzalez shouldn't be considered for best TE ever since they don't have rings either? Mike Ditka got a ring playing for Dallas ... not a bad choice, but definitely not comparable by the bling alone.

Correct, that honor goes to Jay Novacek who also has 3.

This is way too easy.

Explain why I think Jerry Rice is the greatest WR ever then.

You got me ... kinda goes against your trend. Although I don't think the WR position is nearly as much a toss up as some of the rest.

Too bad Rice went to the Broncos and not the Boys ...

No way Emmitt should be in this catagory...

Are you still scarred from the beatdowns Dallas gave G.B in the 90s? Of course he belongs in this category.

I don't think Alex is a Packer fan (the logo is a handicapped GB). Maybe Minnesota IIRC? So that'd make him bitter about all the beatdowns Dallas gave Minnesota in their entire history (barring 1 playoff game). GB Herschel. GB Pearson. GB Roger.

Dec. 28, 1996 - NFC Wild Card - Dallas 40, Minnesota 15

Jan. 1, 1978 - NFC Championship - Dallas 23, Minnesota 6

Dec. 28, 1975 - NFC Divisional - Dallas 17, Minnesota 14

Jan. 5, 1969 - NFL Playoff Bowl - Dallas 17, Minnesota 13

Which means that Antowain Smith was a better back than Thurman Thomas, eh?

Has James Washington has ever returned one of Antowain Smith's fumble for a 46 yard TD in a Super Bowl?

Yer catching on. I've always said you've got moxy.

You seem to have an unhealthy obsession with that word. :D

Emmitt was a stud and certianly one of the greatest ever. But it's not beause he has three rings. Are you catching on now?

Barry. Simply freakish talent. Made ya go :D

Sweetness. Smooth and strong.

Brown. I'm opening another can of worms here, but Brown didn't do it today. He was great, but there will always be a question in my mind about how he'd do in a modern league. The other 3 guys here did it.

Smith. Gotta give props to Emmitt, he is a tough dude and has longevity. Had an excellent supporting cast most of his career.
