loyalboyd
Who would you all concern the number 1 defensive prospect. And if you could give your own say top 10 players for a Dynasty league and why if you got time.
kpholmes
Huff. He is the next Roy Williams/Troy Polomalu/Ed Reed
Sgt. Ryan
AJ Hawk, he starts from day 1, and is a huge name.

Goopster24
AJ Hawk, he starts from day 1, and is a huge name. 1449815 I agree with the Sarge. Hawk is a player and can be an impact player right away. He is a smart defensive player who rarely has mental lapses. He is more athletic than people think and will get to the quarterback more than a couple of times. I expect a huge year, just not against the Bears. Trots
Obviously Ngata.
loyalboyd
I think Hawk will be a beast as well. I was wondering about Huff. Would he be like a great football player but a bad fanasty football player.
Swiss Cheezhead
Definitely Hawk. I can't see him ending up at SLB, so he'll likely be Green Bay's MLB, or, worst-case, the WLB. Either way, he's a stud who won't have to worry about playing time.
kpholmes
I think Hawk will be a beast as well. I was wondering about Huff. Would he be like a great football player but a bad fanasty football player. 1449852 Honestly, when I watch Huff, it reminds me of watching Polomalu. Straight up athlete. Think of the impact Polomalu made for the Steelers, he is all over the field, making all kinds of plays. Picks, Sacks, Fumbles, Def. Passes, all of it. Hawk will win the argument because of the tackles he will rack up. But Huff will make the game changing pick, or the game changing sack on a blind side blitz. So, fantasy wise Hawk is the MVP. But if I wanted a game changer, I'd take Huff. Then again... maybe I'm just bias. I wouldn't mind Hawk on my team either... Hard to tell at this point. loyalboyd
So since I am hearing Hawk and Huff. Who would be next in line after those 2?
loyalboyd
Were would u rank Mario Williams as a IDP in a rookie draft?
Perchoutofwater
Hawk #1, Huff #2 in ff. In real football I'd rather have Huff. I'd say Lawson will be 3rd in FF.
Randall
Fantasy wise I too would say Hawk. LB's get more tackles than safeties especially if moved to MLB. At this point we don't know his position.
Bring Back Pat!!!
I think Wimbley will have a large impact in Cleve, playing in a roll similar to what McGinest plays in NE.
Randall
So since I am hearing Hawk and Huff. Who would be next in line after those 2? 1449872 Chad Greenway and Sims before Huff imo.

Brodrick Bunkley, DT, PHI 1449991 I love the pub for Mario, but as said above, the LB's will garner the most points FF wise, while a rookie DE may have an impact on his particular team, he won't have a great as FF impact-one man's opinion. PantherDave
My top three would be #1 Hawk #2 Carpenter #3 Simms All LB's, and Carpenter could be a beast for years to come since the Boy's are switching to the 3-4 which is all about the LB's. Swiss Cheezhead
People -- there's ONE "m" in "Ernie Sims." That said, no matter how many "m"s are in his name, he's going to be a beast of a WLB for the Lions.

Azazello1313
IF i were in any IDP leagues (which i'm not), the guys i'd want most are hawk, sims, wimley, lawson, mario, huff, whitner, greenway...probably in roughly that order.

All it will take is one stiff-arm from Favre and Sims will be on the sideline.
