DMD
"I'm still a little frustrated, still a littled PO'd, that I've got to make up ground that I missed my first two seasons," (Larry Johnson) said. Asked by Kansas City reporters if he'd had any conversations with Holmes -- a player with whom he never did get close -- Johnson answered with a terse "No." Asked again if he cares what Holmes thinks about playing as a backup, Johnson cut off the conversion with an equally terse "No." Perhaps if Priest does play, he should bring a mirror on a stick to inspect the underside of his car each day. piratesownninjas
I'd laugh if LJ gets hurt in the first game of the season. I hate arrogance.
Puddy
He is sure coming across like an idiot. It's not like Priest wasn't putting up all-pro numbers while he played.
muck
I'm thinking that Larry Johnson never learned how to be a nice friend. Thank goodness, because he's going to TEAR IT UP because he's a mean SOB.

I don't mind him wanting the job. Steve Young demanded it too (over Montana) after years of being the bacxkup.

Menudo
He's a Nittany Lion, what do you expect? 1459776 Yes, the Penn State Nittany Lions sure are known for their thugs.... Now, I'm guessing that you are going to come back with a list of players that have gotten in trouble from PSU, but, before doing so, compare it to other teams. Penn State has been known for putting out high-character guys for years. As for LJ, I love what he does on the field, but, he definitely does have some character issues, always has. Edit: ....and yes, you caught me.... Edited May 10, 2006 by Menudo

PSULions
He's a Nittany Lion, what do you expect? 1459776 Hey, watch it!!! Don't lump all of us together. Priest could have been a mentor and friend to LJ too, than he might not feel the way he does now. Teammate / friendship / mentor is a two-way street and it sounds like Priest was not helping out with LJ as he entered the league. LJ is coming off like an idiot, but he does have the talent and will have a monster season this fall.

If Larry Johnson is going to rush for 2,000 yards and the Chiefs' aging offense is going to make one last run at a championship, then the Pro Bowl left tackle does not want to be left out.
