splotchman
DMD is projecting LT to bounce back this week against the Broncos. LT has also historically ran very well against the Broncos and this is a key Monday night game for the division. However, Denver has been solid against the run. LT is hopefully finally healed from his ankle issues, but those may still be lingering. Are the rest of you starting LT this week? Or playing the wait and see game and plug him in next week when he sees KC? Edited October 15, 2009 by splotchman
heehawks
I am as my #2 in a 14 person league. Only second time this year I get to use him.

dbforbes
Personally, I'd prefer to wait and see for the week, but due to the bye week, I've got no choice but to play him. Let's hope he's ready to smoke them.
gilthorp
If Tootie is doing it, you all better do it. His instincts are aces! Sproles will have better numbers. The only chance SD has to revive their season is by getting Sproles the ball more than they give LT the ball.
Grits and Shins
I am ... due to bye weeks and injuries I have to ... either him or Calvin Johnson who was injured last week and didn't finish the game.

It's clear from last year and his touches this year (in the pass game) that Sproles is the better player. I said earlier in the year that Sproles is unbenchable - that is if Norv gets him 12+ touches a game. Sproles is too explosive for them not to get him touches, we'll see. Chargerz
I HAVE to start him in one league, but until the offensive line can open some holes I'm tempering my expectations. A touchdown and 50-70 yards is all I'm hoping for.

Therefore, if LT is LT, this is going to be his time to show it. If you believed in him then, believe in him now after his bye week and on monday night against the number 1 divisional broncos- LT is going to let everyone know to not count him out yet. Aside from the first game where all backs are rusty to an extent, LT has not had his coming out yet and if he doesnt do it this week, then yes- sit him in the future. But start him this week, unless you got 2 top ten backs like a benson or a r. rice that you got good value for. Sproles is 5'6, do you really think he can be a featured back?......come on! Ask ray lewis that question. He is good, but another back is always going to be in front of him. He can only take so many licks.

Cowboyz1
I think he is finallly healthy enough to plant and his speed is back. Now it's up to the line, they miss their center and Lorenzo Neal badly. Since Neal left LT has not been the same at all. Can't put enough credit on a great FB. Moose, Neal, guys like that are missed more then teams realize. He'll be in my lineup hoping for the best. I like LT and I hope the wheels aren't coming off or he lost his passion. We will see

NAUgrad
I will be absolutely shocked if LT does anything against the Bronco's this week. I know he has a history of doing well against them, but he has a history of doing well against most teams. He's not the same player he was and this Denver D is not the same D either. I haven't seen a D like Denver's in probably more than 10 years. They are so much better it's rediculous. Heck, I'd be surprised if he had more than 50 yds. wowzerz1111
Starting him :/ but only cause I have to... R Brown is on bye...and I can't justify Mccoy over him... Let's go rice and LT

Let's go rice and LT I have the exact same issue and same RBs. Thank god Rice and Ronnie have been money this year or I would not be 4-1. Ursa Majoris
I have P Thomas and C Benson penciled in at the moment over LT. However, I've got to keep an eye on the Thomas situation. If Thomas was 100% I'd start him without a second thought.
kingfish247
Thinking of taking a chance on him over Kevin Smith as a non-PPR flex.

I need to see the Thomas-injury-split-carries-thing to believe it. Now Smith @ GB or LT vs DEN
Shorttynaz
Sproles is 5'6, do you really think he can be a featured back?......come on! Ask ray lewis that question. He is good, but another back is always going to be in front of him. Maurice Jones-Drew is only an inch taller than Sproles at 5'7" and he's not only a feature back - he's turning into a stud. Shorttynaz
He's about eighty pounds heavier too with the build of a bowling ball. While this is getting a little off topic - Per NFL.com Jones-Drew only has about 20 lbs on Sproles as he is listed at 208 while Sproles is listed at 185. Listed, schmisted. I'm pretty sure those lists are not something to hang your hat on. That said, I was of course exaggerating but to make a point - and I think it IS on topic - that Sproles' future as a featured back shouldn't be compared to MJD regardless of them being the same height. Since Sproles' future greatly affects LT, I figured it was on-topic.
