chiefjay Posted April 3, 2012 Share Posted April 3, 2012 Yeah, I thought I was going to lose by one after the extra pts I get for finishing but it also knocked 5 pts off of you on top of that...plus I was given 3 pts more than what I calculated anyways.... I don't see myself making it too far, I am pretty good at times with a bunch of slumps...luckily I used my comeback skills again to pull it out late.... Fell behind early to a 7-letter play, and could just never really get back into it....trailed by that amount all game, and Matt is about as defensive an opponent as I have played thus far...he left me very few TLs or TWs to take advantage of to get back into it. We're about done and I'm almost about to give up though. SNICKERSer roasted me trying to set up a triple-letter tile to use a Q for qi, and will probably be the difference. I was all set to lower the boom on him, hitting a triple letter & triple word score with quiz and he busted my plans. Sometimes you roll the dice & it pays...
