Hugh 0ne
In honor of esteemed huddler ts, who came up with this great idea last year (I tried to link the original but it looks like it got purged), here is the fantasy football advice primer, with some simple suggestions to help get you the answers you are looking for: 1. Please post all pertinent information that members will need to better answer your question. For example, when necessary, post your lineup, scoring system, the other teams lineup, matchups, etc. 2. Please do not post the same question multiple times. If it moves down the first page without responses, just bump it back to the top, if it's a good question, it will get answered. 3. Please do not post "will answer yours", it's just annoying. 4. SIMTT = Should I Make This Trade WDIS = Who Do I Start ASYS = Always Start Your Studs Feel free to add suggestions, I will edit this post, and then have DMD pin it. Thews40
advice is advice..... if you just want to argue, go somewhere else. we also don't have crystal balls->sometimes good advice doesn't pan out. don't piss and moan on tuesday...... when it comes down to it, it's your team.... it's your decision! 906330 and don't blame the huddle for "screwing you" with a projection that didn't pan out. Don't ask for advice on which kicker to start... ever. Don't bump a "rate my team" thread. In fact, don't bump any thread... but especially a rate my team thread that only you benefit from. Don't include a healthy Marvin Harrison in a "pick three" WDIS thread... you know the answer. Look for advice on a player before posting... someone may have already asked the same question. Once in a while, when the projections for your #3 and #4 WR are about even... make a decision by yourself. We don't know your scoring system, so if there's some nuance like defenses play an extra big role, make a decision on when to draft them and go with your gut instinct... the cheatsheets don't factor in lopsided weighted systems. If you're a newbie, I don't care that you landed Moss, Manning, Priest and the Edge. If you did, you obviously drafted with people that have no idea what they're doing. Posting a "rate my team" thread with a star-studded line-up is BS. Don't piss off Grits and Shins... trust me on that one. Advice is free, and if someone offers it just take it for what you paid for it. When one of your RB's gets hurt, don't immediately freak out and look for some insider clue regarding the extent of the injury... you'll know by Wednesday. By all means post any league disputes. They help other new leagues work bugs out before they become problems, and they're interesting. Have a nice day, and if someone calls you a "newbie tool" it's probably because you are one. Bonehand
When one of your RB's gets hurt, don't immediately freak out and look for some insider clue regarding the extent of the injury... you'll know by Wednesday. 917245 Unless of course the RB is a member of the Denver Broncos or NE Patriots, In which case you may NEVER know the extent of the injury... What I was implying to the newbies was not to assume you need to trade your entire team on Monday night to fix the problem.

Clubfoothead
Also if you have questions about the 3rd, 4th or 5th picks at RB please, start here the last post has links to 4 threads that discuss the matter ad nauseam.

kevfish
also dont post "Ignore User" it is annoying and just takes up space. If you want to ignore someone- just dont reply
Big Country
If it weren't for the ignore user posts, none of your threads would get replies. Then again, you already went over this with your thread last month on the subject, seems to me you liked the attention you got from Grits. darin3
It's not explictly spelled out here, although I guess it could be defined as the "in season version of 'Rate my Team'". But posts that simply read: which team will win Week "X"?, with a couple of rosters (and of course these posters never include scoring systems) are borderline retarded.... and will, 99% of the time, elicit G&S type of responses akin to "the team that scores the most points will win".
