'canes2004
I actually could use about 10 points from the Cards def to secure a win.

Vet
Mexicans are big soccer fans, so I'm sure they'll appreciate a low scoring game.

A banged up Niners defense came to play tonight. 3 fumble recoveries, 2 DEF TDs, and hasn't allowed any points. Still early in the 1st quarter, though. Shocking. 1039108 I doubt that any RB with > 25 carries in a season has ever averaged negative yards per attempt ... JJ might do it this year. max
Another fumble in this game (eventhough SF got it back). They should just toss the ball on the ground every play and see who can come up with the ball. Edited October 3, 2005 by max

montster
just think -- there are thousands of future fantasy football players in the mexico city stands tonight who now think that the best strategy is to draft a defense in the first round. (or to just avoid all niners and cards.) and by the way, who in the nfl's front office decided that the first nfl regular season game to be played outside the u.s. should be between ... the niners and cards? BRUISER
I wish I didn't have to watch this crap game but I am tied. I have Boldin and my opponent has Rackers.

Savage Beatings
and by the way, who in the nfl's front office decided that the first nfl regular season game to be played outside the u.s. should be between ... the niners and cards? 1039133 To be fair, this all hinged upon finding a team to give up one of their home-field games. Denny Green was kind enough to oblige seeing as though the Arizona stands weren't exactly spilling over. This is the kind of game where you expect both teams to just start using every trick/gimmick play in the book. Just go for broke boys!
