Guest Sores Posted January 20, 2006 Share Posted January 20, 2006 I didn't want to hijack my own thread earlier, but I posted a saying that always reminds me of one thing.... I used the saying "air her dirty laundry in public". It reminds me of an ABC afterschool special where a kid has a bed wetting problem. His mother is completely cruel and rather than wash them, hangs them out the window to dry where everyone can see them. The kid, completely embarassed runs home to beat the school bus so the other kids won't see the sheets. I think he ends up being some sort of superstar runner as a result. Anyone remember that one, or have any other ABC afterschool specials that stand out in your mind? I am talking circa 1970's here....they were great!
