Perchoutofwater
Thanksgiving for me for several reasons. First the Superbowl isn't a holliday, though I firmly believe it should be. Second Christmas is too commercialized, and most have forgot or down play the meaning of it. Third, more of my extended family comes in for thanksgiving than for Christmas. Forth, the Cowboys always play on Thanksgiving day. Finally, The Longhorns beat the crap out of the my Faggies on Thanksgiving day or the day following it. whitem0nkey
what the heck is that? is it akin to the running of the bulls? Festivus is a nondenominational holiday featured in Seinfeld. A Festivus for the rest of us! An aluminum pole is generally used in lieu of a Christmas tree and they do the airing of grievances:

yo mama
Easter is always nice because lent is over. But I'm going with 4th of July. Nice long weekend to reflect on our Nation's birthday and the brass balls that got laid on the line some 230 years ago so we could have the freedom to drink beer and work on our tans, rather than slave away to pay for the (much needed) dental work for some tea-drinkin' limey half a world away. yo mama
One of the benefits of dropping outta the Church! Ah, but have you considered giving up Lent for Lent? Alternatively, you could try giving up that pesky abstinence for Lent. Edited June 14, 2006 by yo mama
