joethin
So far this season I've not had to pick last in a 12 team league. Assuming that the scoring is 6pts for any TD, 1 pt for 10 yds rush/rec and 1 pt for 25 yds pass, and that LT, LJ, S.Alex, Edge, Tiki, Rudi, Ronnie, Peyton, Steve Smith, TO, and Jordan are gone... What direction should you go: Caddy - Domanick Davis; Caddy - Chad Johnson; Chad - Fitzgerald; Fitz-Boldin... I'm inclined to go with the RB-RB Caddy-DD. Any ideas? Big Country
Answer is the same as the picking 5th thread. It depends who is there. Going in with a set plan on who you take each round only leads to failure. But, given the players you list, I think Caddy-Domainck is the likely best scenario, as in 12 team leagues the RBs are very dry by your 3rd round pick, while there will still be some top WRs available. TRU SOLDJA 22
Portis and Fitz
jake_the_builder
Portis and Fitz Portis at 12th....
joethin
Portis at 12th.... Totally forgot to list Portis in the top 11, I have not seen him last to 12. A steal at this point.

How about Steven Jackson? Seems like these two would be a pretty good RB combo
joethin
Jackson looks really good. I don't know over Domanick Davis. Although Martz is gone, guess it all depends on how they play their offense this year.
chinatown dragons
If Portis is there, gotta grab him....Like Jackson too, especially if Faulk calls it quits, which i think he will.....I have Caddy, and think he will do good, as Tampa is committed to run..ONLY question mark i have is, goal line....You are in good hands with ALSTOTT
muck
Personally, I'd take Caddy and SJax over Davis or Portis.
tonorator
Personally, I'd take Caddy and SJax over Davis or Portis. rather than take davis in this spot, i'd get one of the top WRs if they are left. the huddle rankings have the top WRs about right. portis, sjax, and caddy are no-brainers if there, go RB-RB, and i like them in that order. gordo721
i'd go Portis and SJax!!!
tomfin2000
I agree that it all depends on what players are still on the board, but when you pick near the end of the round like that, I think you need to get at least one Tier 1 stud that can put up monster games as opposed to two Tier 2 RBs. On the other hand, you really can't afford to take your first RB at the end of the 3rd round, so when I'm in that position, I just split it down the middle and take the top Tier 2 RB and the top Tier 1 WR on my draft board. ghengis_chan
RB-RB in all 12 team leagues....If Portis is still there past pick 4 or 5 then you probably are safe with any pick cuz most of your league doesn't draft well anyways....LOL.....Seriously IMO I would take Portis and Caddy. They are the safest and will get almost all the carries. I like SJax a lot but rumors have Bennent reuniting with Linehan and that will hurt SJax. DD is a stud and gets a lot of receptions but is injury prone. You have to take the safest path here and RB's are GOLD compared to WR's. Go RB-RB-WR-WR or grab Gates in the 4th if all tier 2 WR's are gone and you have mandatory TE. If Bennet doesn't go to St Louis then I would consider SJax over Caddy cuz of his mere physical size and speed. Being a bigger back he may not be prone to injuries as much. Again this is just my opinion. Glad to help.
suppasonic
Dont pick DD at 12. SJax is gonna be wicked this year with a fulltime gig, so I'd go SJax-Caddy. However, if Steve Smith were to last till pick 12, I would grab him over Caddy.
BigMikeinNY
It doesnt matter who's there, you have to go RB-RB. If you dont grab two top RB's, then you dont pick again until 36, and your RB combo will be doodie. You may not grab the WR you want, but at least youll have a pretty solid backfield
MrGameTime
It's kind of up in the air with me I agree on many pairs from above, I would take the best RB Then WR and call it a day unless Portis was to slid by then I'd go RB/RB
Dennys Vipers
Must agree with big mike--rb-rb--there won't be a lot of #2 rb's(if any) by #

RG DOMINATOR
Must agree with big mike--rb-rb--there won't be a lot of #2 rb's(if any) by # 36 I love playing against people that go RB-RB. You would be smarter going RB-WR-WR/TE (if Gates). I doubt Gates will last until the end of the third. Yes, you will strugle at the begining of the year at the RB position...but the championship is not played at the beginning. If you are weak at WR or TE at the beginning of the year...you will be weak all year at those positions.

TE especially as there are so few that produce week in and week out that playing matchups there and grabbing the hot hnd is not all that bad of an idea.
