darin3
I haven't paid much attention to the moving-around of projected picks in the past month or so... so pardon me if my comments are from left field. First, is the need for a DE that bad in Arizona that they have to reach for Anderson? I think they need additional protection for Leinart, but going for Levi Brown may be a further reach than the one for Anderson. Ginn, Jr. to the Fins? Is this just the "best athlete available" theory in practice? With Chambers, Booker, Welker and Hagan, I think the Fins are pretty set at WR. And if you're going for a WR, why not Jarrett? Speaking of Jarrett, he would be a complete steal if he slips to #19. Moving back up the list, I think Marshawn Lynch is a perfect fit in Cheese-land. Saint fans, if you get Daymeion Hughes, consider yourself blessed. This kid is a complete class act (won the Ronnie Lott award, an honor bestowed upon a deserving collegiate defender who exhibits not only on-field excellence, but off-field excellence in charity, etc.... it's an award put together by some associates of mine) ... oh, and the kid can play. And you need a DB in the worst of ways. If Patrick Willis somehow slips to the Bolts at #30, there will be rejoicing in San Diego. Willis and Merriman manning that linebacking corp for the next 10 years? Scary. That is all. Rip away.
Caveman_Nick
As for the Pats, I would be very surprised to see them spend a pick on a WR in the first. Pundits want to call it 'an area of need', but the Pats have shown over years that they do not look for top talent at that position. This is why I hate mock drafts. I see them taking DB, LB, DL early. 2 of those 3. Not an RB, QB, WR, TE. Probably not OL, but I would never rule it out. I really wouldn't be surprised to see them trade a first round pick to move down and get an extra first next season.

Bronco Billy
Pretty good looking effort. Lynch to GB & Carricker to DEN would having me sporting a chubber on draft day. Meachum to DAL isn't too far-fetched. Owens & Glenn both have 11 seasons under their belts.

I agree ... the Phins D isn't getting any younger, and they don't exactly have a uber-stud OL.

Caveman_Nick
Where is Michael Griffin? That's someone I would earmark for the Patriots if he were available. Patrick Willis as well. Honestly, those are my 2 hopes for their picks.

forever in debt to mo lewis
pats have to move up for jarvis moss...they need a linebacker/end who can put his hand down and go from 3-4 to 4-3 without having to change personnel
Rockerbraves
Lot of LSU/Saint fans would like them to draft Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU

Kiper has him at 15, GBN has him at 13, and NDC has him at 25. I'm not worried about it. They have done such a good job with their drafts, I am sure they will do what's best. darin3
Lot of LSU/Saint fans would like them to draft Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU With the success of their "steals" - namely Colston, but in a way, Henderson too - why would they spend a high pick on another young WR? Terrence Copper - or someone in FA - would make a fine 3rd WR. The Saints' needs are certainly on D, and especially in the defensive backfield. malta69
These mock drafts are fun to look at sometimes, but they're generally a complete waste of time. The Eagles wouldnt spend a first round pick on a CB if he were a Deion Sanders clone!!!

He's all show, no go. Kyle Boller without the arm. . . . okay, maybe not THAT bad, but close. Peace policy
