rocknrobn26
buy baby formula off of ebay? Dammit, man....don't do that. Sams, Costco, etc. can't be that much more. Before you do that you better PM me!
Skippy
Gotta agree with these guys and say no way. I mean I am sure the chances are way low of anything being wrong but what if? Don't take a chance like that.
Savage Beatings
I wouldn't do it. Go to the different brand websites to look for coupons and look for clubs that you can join that give you deals. Don't buy your formula from eBay.
irish
Scary what some parents would do to squeeze a penny. Um...so my advice is NO!! Edited June 8, 2007 by irish
max
buy baby formula off of ebay? I wouldn't. As stated Sams club or Costco are good places to go. Also go on the formula brands web site and sign up for the coupons. For example our son used similac and on similac.com we signed up for coupons and they sent 5.00 off coupons throughout the 1st yr. wiegie
I wouldn't buy it from eBay--of course, I pretty much don't buy anything from eBay. (I also wouldn't trust the stuff from Sam's either--it wouldn't surprise me if Wal*Mart bought its formula from some place in China that makes it out of ground up dissidents. )
polksalet
cool, that's what I was thinking
AtomicCEO
I tried the Costco... But the wife and I ended up going with Target brand, and it was the best deal for something with the exact same ingredients and nutritional stats as Enfamil. Pretty darn cheap too, comparatively. Jackass
use dog food. If you start 'em young, they won't know the difference - at least not for a while.

The Holy Roller
I simply applaud that we even are talking about this. What a "problem" to have after all you've been through. Mrs HR came with her own supply of baby food.
chiefjay
One for Walmart, Parents Choice brand or something like that.
polksalet
we have to use similac "neosure" since she is a preemie. It is not cheap nor is it available in generic format.

Big Dogs
So, I'm going to take the dissenting opinion here..........We've had multiple friends and family members buy various types of formula off ebay for several years before we had our first. Not one of them ever had an issue with it........ We had never even really thought about it at first, but it was suggested to us after my wife stopped breast feeding, and we ended up starting to buy off ebay. I think as long as you are very cautious and make sure the people you are buying from have no negatives against them at all, you can get a pretty good deal and it will be safe. We only purchased it off Ebay for about 5 months, then my daughter switched over to regular milk, but we never had any issue.

Azazello1313
actually, i don't see why not, as long as you did some due dilligence looking at their feedback and such.
broncosn05
actually, i don't see why not, as long as you did some due dilligence looking at their feedback and such. Eh. I don't think so.
Azazello1313
it is a canned, manufactured product, with an expiration date. it's not like you're buying fresh meat off the internet. someone explain to me why buying it from someone with several thousand positive feedback on ebay is worse in any way than buying it out of some f'n warehouse.
