myhousekey
Saw this blurb on PFT.com. What a fantastic addition he would be to the Saints... POSTED 3:17 p.m. EST, December 11, 2007 HALL TO PAYTON: "I'LL PLAY FOR YOU FOR THE MINIMUM" Our moles who were in the Georgia Dome on Monday night tell us that, at one point during the game between New Orleans and Atlanta, Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall was overheard telling Saints coach Sean Payton, "I'll play for you for the minimum," or words to that effect. Hall was fined $100,000 for his conduct in a game earlier this year against the Panthers, and the general feeling in the wake of the incident has been that Hall won't be back in 2008. Prior to that, Hall made clear his desire to test the open market once his rookie contract expires. It's unlikely that Hall would actually play for the Saints, or anyone, for the minimum player contract with four years of experience. Still, the broader point is that Hall clearly wants out of Atlanta. He'll likely get his wish.
peepinmofo
What makes him think they need a CB? Dont they have that uber stud they just got from IND?
whomper
If I am a teamate of his or atlanta brass I would come down very hard on him for this..suspend his ass for the rest of the year .

Not having to take the field as an Atlanta Falcon? Is that actually a punishment?
Hat Trick
I'd love to have him and Samuel in KC.

rajncajn
Screw the morals...I hate him, but as long as he keeps his **** together & wins us games I'd take him.
Bill Swerski
Wow, what a disaster "the A-T-L" has become.
millerx
If this is true, why do we (the fans, media, etc) continue to pretend these guys are professionals? That is anything but professional. Same thing about holdouts and renegotiating contracts, etc. For some reason, this story just pisses me off (What low class that shows)! Hell, he's WAY overrated. Good luck to the Saints if they get him.

Crap, I just realized that Sharpton and Duke go together quite nicely. But you get what I was saying.

IrishPride
Do you actually think the G-men will let a CB like that get away? Our corners get burnt by Te's? I take Hall all day long, I'm not much for the off the field stuff but between the lines he's better than any corner we have! Shorttynaz
I'd love to have him and Samuel in KC. KC has bigger fish to fry.. Like getting a franchise QB and a decent receiving corp. THEN you can worry about the defense.
broncosn05
Sorry but talent wise he's the one player we CANNOT lose.
rajncajn
Hall is way overrated, but he's also much better than anything we have opposite McKenzie. He would get exposed even more in New Orleans.
