SuperCharger
Besides the whole gross out factor it's completely unfeasible. You would need millions of nursing mothers to even think of supplying enough milk. As any women will tell you or man with a wife who has nursed will attest to, nursing is very painful. I can't imagine a gallon of human milk being sold for less then $100.

millerx
It's a good idea, except that they couldn't possibly understand the consequences of this change. Instead of cow farms in China, there'd be people farms. So...does this mean they could eventually catch "Mad Cow" disease? And if so, does this mean we would have to put 'em down? Yes, the first couple weeks can be a tough go as you're learning how to make sure the baby is "latched on" properly, but once you know how to do it, it shouldn't be in the slightest bit painful. If your wife is having pain, she'd do well to consult a lactation specialist or La Leche for some help. Errrr...vanilla mom swirl? Cow's milk is for baby cows. It's designed to help baby cows grow during their first few months of life. I won't drink the stuff, myself. (I don't drink the other kind either. )

The current price is $5 an ounce so $640 a gallon......that does not include the increase in demand. So what does that make that over priced pint of Peanut Butter Cup a like. I guess I better eat up. My estimate was going in the right direction. That would make a pint of B&J ice cream what... $640 dollars/gallon/8 pints = $80? I won't drink the stuff, myself. (I don't drink the other kind either. ) My dad drove a milk truck taking the milk from the farms to the creamery. I'd ride along and he'd dip me a glass full right from the bulk tank every once in a while. Man that was good stuff.

I grew up on a diary farm and all of our milk came right out of the pasteurization tank, non-homogenized. To this day I shake the milk jug before I pour a glass out of habit. Nothing better then fresh milk.
Czarina
I find it odd that people will drink Budweiser, but not milk. I won't drink either one, does that make sense?
