wildcat2334
great flick, and original. Smart and original dialogue and entertaining as hell. The first movie I can think of really, that brought pop culture and references to the table in an intelligent, funny and twisted way. Besides older folks like my parents, I don't know anyone who didn't like it.
i_am_the_swammi
I'm not sure its a masterpiece, but it ain't junk. I voted masterpiece in lieu of a better choice....good.
I Like Soup
Masterpiece may be a little strong but definitely great work done by Tarantino. Great twists and I love movies that have a timeline you kind of have to figure out.

Pope Flick
Way too much talk about blueberry pancakes to be anything more than overrated.
TDFFFreak
I don't love it as much as many others do, but it is a very good piece of filmmaking and entertaining too. Edited January 21, 2009 by TDFFFreak
DMD
It has some memorable moments and a lot of stars in the movie but I wouldn't consider it a masterpiece and I am not sure why it received the hype that it always has. As with all of Tarrantino movies, you go in knowing you will see excessive if not just gratuatous blood scenes, a constant barrage of the F-bomb and a storyline that is disjoint and lurches along like a comic book. I'd watch a Tarrantino film and they almost always have some moments that I enjoy but overall I just do not find his work to be anywhere near as good as I guess most do. Another thing about his work that makes me think about comic books is that he loves bad language and violence but he never has sex or nudity in his movies that I can think of. It's like he loves to push the envelope on blood and gore and bad words but cannot bring himself to do the same with sex. I guess his work reminds me of what a 14 year old boy would want to see in a movie right before he hits puberty.

bushwacked
Great F'n movie. It's greatness can be attributed alone to its pure originality and the fact it initiated a ton of lesser quality copycat attempts. . As with all of Tarrantino movies, you go in knowing you will see excessive if not just gratuatous blood scenes, a constant barrage of the F-bomb and a storyline that is disjoint and lurches along like a comic book. Nitpicking here, but if I remember correctly QT was not really well known at the time (Resevoir Dogs and Killing Zoe). I had seen both, and was still blown away by the ingenuity of the whole thing. detlef
I'd need a "meh, not bad but not worthy of the iconic status it seems to have gotten" choice.
