BiggieFries
My kid just turned two yesterday - he's 98% across the board in height and weight so there's no way his 32lb 3 ft frame is fitting in a rear facing seat unless I cram him in there. Heh, my son is the same. 95% everywhere. He turned 2 about a month ago. Took him to some play area with bounce houses near us and he was almost bigger than a 4 year old. Pretty funny to look at actually. As for when we flipped him around, we couldn't flip in front facing until he turned 1 but he was already well over 20lbs by then. Savage Beatings
Maybe the newly re-organized Government Motors could just design a car which has rear facing back seats. You could have a front bench and a back bench that share the same backrest.

We're off the charts for both height and weight with our kid. He's one big, happy dude too.

BiggieFries
It's a LOT easier than using bubblewrap each time. That got tedious real fast. Dude, bungee cords. You can strap 'em down to anything. Sheesh, armatures.
