cliaz
Today is my wife's and my father's birthday. The wife still has stories about not fully enjoying her B-day because of the Challenger...that and when the Super Bowl would fall on her birthday she would get ignored....but that's understandable. westvirginia
was home sick from school We had a snow day, and I'm from the sticks so we didn't have cable. It preempted every channel (all four) except PBS.
Sunday Couch Potatoe
Never forget it sitting in the classroom and watching the teachers and staff in a different state of mind after the tragedy. It is still as heart wrenching today as it was that day very sad for all the people affected by the disaster

Jimmy Neutron
That day was one of the few times I've had a premonision. Dad was driving us to school and they were talking about the shuttle launch and the cold temps and I got a memorably sick feeling in my gut. Puddy
I was in my senior year English class when we all heard the news. I'll never forget when Mr. Murray told all of us. Sad indeed.
