Seattle LawDawg
Caught a few minutes of it. Had that annoying chick from Dexter in it so I turned it off. I'll give it a chance. Ah....That's who that was!
chiefjay
Still very good, can't wait for tonight's episode. I hear Batiatas (sp?) has something in store for his friends from last week.
I Like Soup
Y'all know this ends with mass crucifications along the Via Appia, right?
Rovers
I thought it interesting. The same people who were allied with him earlier are some of the same ones he would murder later on. Pretty well done, especially considering it's a delaying tactic until they replace Whitfiled. Was this actually fimed before last year? Some of the actors actually do look younger. Just make up? Big Country
I thought it interesting. The same people who were allied with him earlier are some of the same ones he would murder later on. Pretty well done, especially considering it's a delaying tactic until they replace Whitfiled. Was this actually fimed before last year? Some of the actors actually do look younger. Just make up? This was filmed middle of last year, when Whitfield was first diagnosed and it was thought he could return after treatment (and because of the great job John Hannah and Lucy Lawless did, they wanted to find a way to continue with those characters). Once it was determined that he would not be able to return, they had to recast the role, which I saw they just announced in the last couple of weeks. Basically some real good make up/special effects work on the actors. It is very interesting to see this part of the story after the first season, seeing how the relationships were before the events that unfolded. I think it is a pretty cool idea they had to go this route.
twiley
Watched the whole thing and glad I did. I can look past the annoying chick from Dexter as long as she continues to get naked and do lesbo scenes.

tazinib1
This still on Starz, right? Yes You can watch the entire 1st season on Netflix as well as the prequel. Edited January 28, 2011 by tazinib1
TimC
Yes You can watch the entire 1st season on Netflix as well as the prequel. I just watched the series on Netflix. I'm going to overuse the phrase "Jupiter's c-ck" now. I dug it. It was like a modern-day cartoon. Those were spectacular...although I wonder how many were CGI boobies. twiley
Season finale is tonight. Are they going to continue this storyline or wrap it all up tonight?
Seattle LawDawg
Season finale is tonight. Are they going to continue this storyline or wrap it all up tonight? I think they are going back to the original storyline with a replacement for the actor who originally played spartacus.
MikesVikes
I've been watching a few episodes but it seems like the same episode is always on. Those guys never have a dull moment it seems. They're either killin or screwin. Let me guess, on tonight's epidsode somebody is going to get killed or someone is going to get laid. Or get laid and then killed. Edited February 26, 2011 by MikesVikes
twiley
Season finale was pretty good. Final fight scene seemed a little "pushed" like they were trying to pull things together too quickly to tie in the other show but it was still pretty bad ass. chiefjay
Solid Finale but enjoyed episode 5 much more. Twiley is right, 6 episodes wasn't enought to tie it all together, needed 8-10. Crixus's rise was too quick imo considering he was considered next to nothing when he came to the house. Solid effort though, 1 year is too long to wait plus I liked the old Spartacus. Oh well Camelot looked interesting, and will be airing on Starz in April, and Game of Thrones will be airing on HBO in April as well. MikesVikes
If you like to see dudes getting killed in all sorts of different ways, than this it the show for you. Obviously 50 people getting slaughtered is more entertaining that just a few.
twiley
did you hear that Andy Whitfield (Spartacus) was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma? Show is on hiatus until his treatments are over. Poor guy - finally gets some celebrity and then this happens. I love the show to but more for it's T 'n' A than anything else. Died this past weekend. tosberg34
Died this past weekend. Yeah, I saw that. That's terrible - and at 39 years of age. What a tragedy.
