I thought it interesting. The same people who were allied with him earlier are some of the same ones he would murder later on. Pretty well done, especially considering it's a delaying tactic until they replace Whitfiled. Was this actually fimed before last year? Some of the actors actually do look younger. Just make up?

This was filmed middle of last year, when Whitfield was first diagnosed and it was thought he could return after treatment (and because of the great job John Hannah and Lucy Lawless did, they wanted to find a way to continue with those characters). Once it was determined that he would not be able to return, they had to recast the role, which I saw they just announced in the last couple of weeks. Basically some real good make up/special effects work on the actors.

It is very interesting to see this part of the story after the first season, seeing how the relationships were before the events that unfolded. I think it is a pretty cool idea they had to go this route.

Yes

You can watch the entire 1st season on Netflix as well as the prequel.

I just watched the series on Netflix. I'm going to overuse the phrase "Jupiter's c-ck" now.

I dug it. It was like a modern-day cartoon. Those :tup: were spectacular...although I wonder how many were CGI boobies.

CGI boobies. Did you really have to post that? Here I was, in boobie heaven, and now.... you spoil sport.

I've been watching a few episodes but it seems like the same episode is always on. Those guys never have a dull moment it seems. They're either killin or screwin.

Let me guess, on tonight's epidsode somebody is going to get killed or someone is going to get laid. Or get laid and then killed.

Solid Finale but enjoyed episode 5 much more. Twiley is right, 6 episodes wasn't enought to tie it all together, needed 8-10. Crixus's rise was too quick imo considering he was considered next to nothing when he came to the house.

Solid effort though, 1 year is too long to wait plus I liked the old Spartacus.

+1 on all accounts. I'm going to hate waiting until next year. Oh well Camelot looked interesting, and will be airing on Starz in April, and Game of Thrones will be airing on HBO in April as well.
