Brentastic
I always thought Doug would make a funny dog name. Doug the dog.
Wolverines Fan
You're a good man, getting a 5 year old from the shelter. Those "old folks" can only hope someone pure of heart comes along to take them home. Stuck on a name though... +1 Big John, I've been away from the Huddle for a while. Just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about Sara. Adopting a shelter dog is a really nice thing to do.

Big John
I always thought Doug would make a funny dog name. Doug the dog. Dug is named Doug and has a dog rescue mission.
ABearWithFurniture
If he is like other beagles I have known, no matter what you name him, he will hear "Shut Up" a lot more often! Tell me about it...lived next door to a beagle for years and that dog barked endlessly for hours on a nightly basis. If BJ is lucky the dog was cross-bred with Prozac... Caveman_Nick
I think Bart would make a good name. It's manly (If you names your dog Starr it would increase the chance someone could mistake you for a teenage girl ) and representative. Big John
lambeau (call him bo) brett chmura (chewie) vince After much mulling and deliberations, we got a winner. Vince, or Vinnie.
Big John
Do you know what he was crossed with? Can't tell, but makes him bigger and the snout is shorter than a beagle's. And the white areas of the legs have brown spots. The vet is thinking there is some Australian Shepherd mixed in him.
The Holy Roller
After much mulling and deliberations, we got a winner. Vince, or Vinnie. Excellent choice!
