ETA: There is actually a stand in the business that is referred to as the "Gary Coleman". A normal C-stand is alittle over 3ft, a Gary Coleman is alittle under 2ft.

RIP Different Strokes was a great show back in the day . Sad that 2 out of the 3 kids on that show are gone and the surviving one has battled his demons as well

It has to be tough to go from being the darling of television in the 80's to being a footnote obituary in the 2000's. I feel for anyone who bases their self worth on the adoration of the American public.

That's probably THE show (or at least sitcom) that I most remember from growing up. I can still laugh about certain episodes with my kid sister. I can close my eyes and picture how certain rooms looked in the show, etc. Crazy, and sad.
