Zooty Posted April 23, 2011 Share Posted April 23, 2011 Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall was in an intensive care unit Saturday after reportedly being stabbed with a knife by a woman. Marshall, 27, was "not in imminent danger" of dying, a source told FOXSports.com's Jay Gazer. Further details are still unavailable, but a source said it's believed the stabbing stemmed from a domestic altercation. A call and text message to Marshalll's agent Kennard McGuire wasn't immediately returned. The story was first confirmed by ESPN. Rumors of the stabbing began to surface Friday night on internet blogs. Marshall made 86 receptions for 1,014 yards and three touchdowns last season, his first with the Dolphins. He will survive, according to source at the Broward hospital where he is in Intensive Care. Marshall was allegedly stabbed in the stomach by his wife Michi Nogami-Marshall. She has been arrested on aggravated battery and with a deadly weapon domestic violence charges. She is awaiting the posting of a surety bond in the amount of $7,500. Why doesn't Brandon-freaking-Marshall date a good girl? Have you been ignoring sports news for the last several years? Dude is a total a-hole and borderline psychopath. This is the same woman he was with in Denver when he got busted for domestic violence or some such. He is exactly the type of dude who would and should be married to a chick who would stab her husband. If he wants to be with a good girl, he's going to need to find a good and stupid girl who has been living under a rock for the last few years and doesn't know how psycho he is. Duchess Jack Posted April 23, 2011 Share Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) per roto news CBS Sports' Mike Freeman reports Brandon Marshall had a motion to dismiss a civil lawsuit filed against him by an ex-girlfriend rejected late last week. The lawsuit was filed by Rasheeda Watley, someone Marshall is believed to have had many domestic incidents with. Eerily, Watley revealed in a 2009 interview with ESPN's "Outside the Lines" that she was once compelled to grab a kitchen knife in self defense during a fight with Marshall. History appears to have repeated itself in a very ugly manner on Friday. Meanwhile, the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports that the Dolphins are not currently "of the mind" to explore cutting ties with Marshall this offseason.
