Ok Irish. I'll play. I"m drafting tonight in my office league. I pick 2nd overall. It's a 12 team, 1/2 pt PPR. I figure I can choose between Beckham or Julio. My choice is Beckham, however, I'm somewhat tempted to nab Gurley as it's only 1/2 pt PPR. I'd hose myself at WR1 but I would have Gurley. Thoughts?

PPR League

1 point for every 10 yards rushing or receiving - RB & WR

1 point for every 7.5 yards receiving - TE

Need to start 5 from the RB, WR and TE positions and at least one at each position. As you can see from the scoring info above, TE's can get yardage points a little easier than other positions.

RB's

Todd Gurley @ SFO

DeAngelo Williams @ WAS

Carlos Hyde vs RAM

WR's

Julio Jones vs TBB

Kelvin Benjamin @ DEN

Alshon Jeffery @ HOU

Jordan Matthews vs CLE

TE's

Coby Fleener vs OAK

Antonio Gates @ KCC

Jared Cook @ JAC

IMO, the first 3 are pretty easy: Gurley, Williams and Julio. Which means I need 2 more and one of them has to be a TE. My initial thought is to go with both Fleener and Gates for the final two.

Agree?

Different Option?

What a predicament!!! Who to start in my Flex? I got Bress, Gore, D. Martin, Odel, A. Cooper, C. Walford, Jets D, Kicker Bailey..... Team is stacked!!! But who to do for flex. I got great choices, just need a little advice.

Larry Fitzgerald

Marvin Jones

Spencer Ware

Markus Wheaton

Christine Michael

Johnathan Stewart

and even Alfred Morris

DeSean Jackson > TY Hilton

Darius Slay is one of the better corners in the league. The match up with Jackson against PIT is crazy favorable for him. I have Gurley & AP as my RBs with Spencer Ware in the FLEX and A. Cooper as my other WR.

So this is why I can't play both Hilton AND Jackson. Is this crazy or possibly a good idea?

My team set up for this week

QB: Eli Manning

WRs: Allen Robinson, Keenan Allen, Golden Tate

RBs: Ezekiel Elliot, Eddie Lacy

TE: Delaine Walker

Flex: Michael Crabtree

Flex2: John Brown

Bench: Thomas Rawls, Arian Foster

BU: Philip River. Julius Thomas, Kelvin Benjamin.

1. Should I drop Julius Thomas to pick up Christine Mike and set at Flex2?

2. Start Arian Foster instead of John Brown ?

What will you do? This is 8 teams non PPR.

We still have in Waive: James White, D Woodhead

Thanks,

No but I'd add Woodhead instead.

So this is my first year doing PPR (.5) since the last 2 years I've done standard leagues. Take a look at my team and let me know what you think and what I should look to pick up in the waiver wire this week or after week 1, or try to trade.

ESPN PPR (.5) 10 man league

QB: Eli Manning

RB: Mark Ingram, Jermey Hill

WR: Julio Jones, Sammy Watkins

TE: Gary Barniage

Flex: Doug Baldwin

K: Steven Hauschka

Def: Jets

BENCH:

WR: Eric Decker, Tavon Austin

RB: DeMarcco Murry, LaGarrette Blount, Chris Ivory

TE: Zak Miller

QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick

Players on Waivers I can grab that I think might be good:

Dak Prescott

Virgil Green

Darren Sproles

Thanks for looking!

So you went a little light at WR but did fairly well at RB,I think your QBs will do their part. Solid D and K. I like this team and think you'll be competitive for sure.

12 team league

The important part is knowing your scoring system, things can be different for ppr or standard. Regardless of scoring,I like Brock this week at QB but it's very close between him and Dalton,so just start Dalton. If start Jeffery ad your WR 2 and Crabtree in the flex for sure in ppr. In standard,is a toss up between Hyde and crab.

Palmer or Cousins this week? Huddle has Cousins ranked 1 for my scoring - but forum is suggesting Palmer.

I also have cousins with the slight edge, but it's close.

I don't like the waiver options, looking at your team. However,in a 10 team league, you've definitely got some holes but hopefully some of your players step up. Not a huge J.Hill or Watkins fan. Hourly they step up for you. I'd stand pat and see what shows in waivers.

12 team standard league.. Should I take a risk on Matt Jones and trade Michael Floyd & Torrey Smith to get him?

That's a lot to give up and with your roster I wouldn't make that move.
