darin3 Posted February 15, 2023 Share Posted February 15, 2023 My brain is too fried to do a haiku (thanks to a 4:45am wakeup) but I will second the sentiment of missing the "good ol' days" here. Huddle Fights, Mystery Huddler, etc. So much fun and it really did feel like a community of great people. Sure, there were some trolls (UglyTuna, etc.) but there was rarely any name-calling and vitriol. I looked forward to threads started by Whomper or Spain. Hilarity always ensued at some point. Twitter and Facebook have certainly changed things, but I can look back and smile knowing there were many years that this place was truly awesome, and I still have a good handful of "friends" (some of who I've never met - looking at YOU @rajncajn) that I cherish. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anytime you're traveling anywhere within an hour or so of the Gulf Coast, let me know. New Orleans is not always doable, but would love to try to get together sometime. I am working on getting approval to attend a conference in NO at the end of March. I will try and get Balla to come down from Baton Rouge (although I just saw him a couple months ago up there).
