darin3
Rich Eisen seems to think Tom Brady may "un-retire" AGAIN if Tua is not medically cleared to start the season. Now... these are JUST RUMORS but Eisen usually knows things and this would not surprise me in the least. Linkypoo

Miami, SF or I've heard even going back to Boston since Mac has kinda plateaued.
purplemonster
I mean the guy absolutely loves football. I can see why it is difficult for these guys to give it up. NFL football has all these challenges, physical, mental, and then fan adulation, the locker room, the camaraderie and sense of going to battle. All of that is quite a rise and basically impossible to find in civilian life outside of football. Wouldn't be surprised if he feels a bit directionless after doing that for 25 yrs. The downside I'd imagine is the grind, getting hit, wanting to spend more time with family. Edited March 7, 2023 by purplemonster

rajncajn
Would not surprise me in the least.
rajncajn
Imagine the ego hit Marino would take knowing he wouldn't be the greatest QB ever to wear a Dolphins uniform or if Brady did something he was never able to by winning a Superbowl. League_Champion
I can't imagine him coming back. He's got a gravy high paying booth job waiting for him, but then again it's Brady. Nothing would shock me.
stevegrab
Nothing would surprise me too much, but its 99% talk, because the media can't give up on him either. He's supposed to be taking a year off before he hops into the broadcast booth, so it does leave things rather open.
