Perchoutofwater
There have been several players go on to be US Senators and Representatives. Interestingly enough, all but one that I can think of are Republican. I guess they want to keep the money they earned. If I had to guess at who has the best chance for President, it would probably be Steve Largent. While I don't think he ever played in the NFL, J.C. Watts was a pretty good player, and I could see him runnning for VP or maybe even Pres one day.
Perchoutofwater
I think I heard that Lynn Swan is going to run for something during the next election cycle, not sure what, but would bet it is either as Governor, or on the national scene. max
Byron White played for Pittsburgh in 1938 when they went by the Pirates. He also played for the Detroit Lions and later went to the hall of fame. He became Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court as well.
