Avernus
As long as he works hard in practice and prepares for games Parcells and TO will co-exist just fine. Jerry Jones will have to deal with any off the field problems TO creates. In Dallas, TO becomes the main guy for the media to focus on and talk about. There is no McNabb like player to take any of his attention away. TO will feed off the "America's Team" spotlight, especially during the two Philly weeks during the season. 1374602 how about that incentive based contract... every time he doesn't get a ball thrown his way or a TD goes somewhere else...it'll just be building up... Outshined
I think he might have learned his lesson. He lost alot of money and looked like a dumb ass in the process. I just don't see him pulling those antics again. I am sure Rosenhaus will not be telling him to hold out because this contract will be negotiated by Rosenhaus. The last one wasn't. Then he hired Rosenhaus and wanted a new contract and thats when everything started happening. I just don't see him pulling that crap again because Rosenhaus negotiated it. TO will be sick of being on an incentive based contract and feel he's worth guaranteed money after being quiet and playing nice his 1st season...and he will demand a contract with a new signing bonus and all of that... TimC
Playing for the Cowboys is alot different than playing for the Eagles. People are not embarrassed to play for the Cowboys and the Cowboys actually take care of their players.

rattsass
I guess Parcells is willing to put up with anything to get that last ring and go out in a blaze of glory. It could work. Or it could blow up like a sloppy meth lab. Tough call.

DMD
Aren't some die hard Cowboys fans always going to remember T.O. running to the star in the middle of the field? I don't know how I'd feel if I were a Cowboys fan about that. 1374221 I know how one Cowboys fan feels :doah:

TDFFFreak
NO ONE can control TO but he will not be a problem this year and will have a HUGH year ... now after that ... who knows. 1374587 Not worth it if he can't get them to the Superbowl this year and I just don't see it with their QB situation, T.O or no T.O. TimC
Cowboys to the Superbowl! 1376026 That Dallas at Philly game may be the highest rated game of the season. What's the over/under on Security just saying "F It"?
msaint
If TO ends up in Dallas, and I found out/reported it weeks before anyone else even mentioned Dallas as an option, and did so solely because -- wait for it now -- A STRIPPER IN VEGAS GAVE ME THIRD HAND INSIDE INFO, this will be the single proudest moment of my Huddle career. Edit to add: WHEN he ends up in Dallas....strippers are never wrong. 1364324 Like I said, folks...Vegas strippers are never, ever wrong. He will have 2 Legit deep threats and Witten as a possesion TE with big play capabilities..From a football aspect this is a homerun but obviously the shenanigans that might ensue is the issue here. Kansas State 2000
Bottom line is Dallas just got a lot better on the field ... hopefully there is no change on the sidelines and off the field.

If T.O.'s on field performance can negate his eventual sideline/off field crap it is obviously a good move for Dallas. Year #1 he should be the good teammate, but after that who knows.
