TheCMB
geez - they could have had 3 or 4 shots at the end zone, and he takes a sack! What a sack.
alwaysrocking
Anytime they are behind or even ahead for that matter I fully expect Plummer to screw up the game for the broncos.
Gunther
Someone might want to let Shanahan know that Plummer is leaving yards on the field.
forever in debt to mo lewis
what really puzzles me..is how the guy, especially on the last play, is throwing out this half azz quasi play action fakes when the back isnt even faking taking the handoff....its just wasted motion
hooknladder
he sucks...maybe they should CUTler him.

CopeDog
I'm so sick of watching Plummer throw away games. Denver should have won this game and should have beat the Colts. Those 2 home losses are going to sting at the end of the season.
giantsfan
If they lose in KC Thursday I think they should start Cutler the next week. They will still be in playoff position and simply put Plummer stinks and you just can't win with him.

He did it at least twice on that last drive - there was NO WAY they were running the ball so what was the point!?!?
Furd
He still must be following the game plan, apparently.

Potman
It simply comes down to this. Plummer CAN NOT win a big game when it's on his shoulders. Another game like that from him and he's done.
Bronco Billy
Plummer is what he has always been - an erratic QB with some very good physical skills who can't be counted on to do anything other than be average. That Shanahan relied on him so much in the 2nd half when the running game was gashing SD is beyond my comprehension. The better team won the game yesterday, and Shanahan was outcoached by Schottenheimer. DEN is in some trouble with games at KC & SD in 2 of the next 3 weeks. BlindZebra
The broncos were not out coached. The Broncos were out Tomlinized.
alexgaddis
Plummer is a pile of crap... slightly smaller than the turd that is Aaron Brooks...
samurai30
Plummer is a pile of crap... slightly smaller than the turd that is Aaron Brooks... plummer does blow....but no way they put in a rookie..until they know they are completely out
Azazello1313
Someone might want to let Shanahan know that Plummer is leaving yards on the field. yeah he's not following the gameplan. unless the gameplan calls for plummer throwing the ball like kordell stewart
9ersdude
I just wish he could get the d**n ball to Javon Walker.
johnnyfb
Question: If Philip Rivers and Plummer switch places, is Denver undefeated right now? Or can we finally blame Denver's astounding amount of problems on their "#1 defense"?

Bill Swerski
That Shanahan relied on him so much in the 2nd half when the running game was gashing SD is beyond my comprehension. I have no idea why Shanahan wasn't running bootlegs with Plummer in the second half (especially with Merriman out). That's where he's most effective. It seems that most of the pass plays called were standard three- and five-step drop-backs.
Snoil
Plummer rox!!! Another 6-7 years of seasoning and he'll be seriously almost good enough to be an every week starter!! Go Plummer!

Only Plummer trying to throw from the pocket, which he stinks at. And it's not even all his fault: the line just can't pass protect for a pocket quarterback--they are too undersized. Shanahan got outcoached in this one because he didn't make any adjustments to his already crappy gameplan. Credit to San Diego and their O-line: Tomlinson was barely touched the whole game. Memo to Shanny: have you noticed that you are still not getting any sacks on the qb, just like last year? Might be time to start bringing more than 4 pass rushers. Jeez that game made me
