i_am_the_swammi
My smoke-and-mirrors homer league team, heading to the Super Bowl after a 5-8 regular season...amazingly earned the 3rd place spot in my division, a wild-card birth in the playoffs: QB: Hass RBs: SJax (carried me these last three weeks), KJ, Barber, Dayne WR: Marshall, Welker, Boldin, Reggie Brown TE: Winslow K: Hanson DEF: Titans Other than Winslow & Welker (who has been hit-or-miss), not a Top-8 player on my team at any position. Facing the best team in the league this week: Brady, LT & Parker, Edwards, Jennings, Fitz, Witten, Gostkowski & Pats defense. I may lose by 100. popmagnet
My team is in my signature, but it is not an accurate indication of the year. Week 3 was DeShaun Foster getting 26 points. Week 5 was Nick Folk being the only Cowboy worth anything in Buffalo. Week 6 had Jason Wright propping me up with 12 points. Week 7 had Kenny Watson scoring over 30. Week 9 was the Lions scoring 34. Week 12 was Kolby Smith getting 28. Started the year with Kitna and dropped him after I traded Jesse Chatman to get Derrick Anderson from the guy I just beat in the semis. Grabbed Colston from a guy who gave up on him and watched him explode the next week. My team now is just the current incarnation. It's all the things that happened along the way that make this year really satisfying.
