Antonio Brown has frostbitten feet

I mean I personally don't care if AB wants to wear his own helmet but the NFL is getting sued left and right and when you are talking about head injuries and cognitive dysfunction if you find the right juries it could essentially be limitless amounts of dollars.  So it's an existential threat to the league in a worst case scenario and somewhat expensive even in a good case scenario, so they have to protect themselves with rules and appearing that they are responding to recent data.

E.g. "So commissioner, you granted this waiver even though you KNEW it could cause lifelong brain damage?  Is Antonio Brown a CTE specialist?  Could he have had CTE when he signed the waiver?"  Blah blah blah.  Sure the waiver may protect them legally, but why take the chance when you can just say no, and 99.99% accept this, except slightly nutty, almost out of the league Mr. Big Chest.

Dude just keeps digging himself holes. In response to Big Ben saying on NBC Sunday night that he regretted criticizing AB after the Broncos game because it ended a friendship, AB tweeted ( then deleted said tweet) that they were never friends, was just a about him getting his "end" ( money or stats I suppose is what that means in AB dialect)

Then after that tweet, the Internet won, as it always does.

He's a mess. No wonder why Pittsburg couldn't wait to get rid of him. Wait till the Raiders stink, it's gonna be interesting.

I know this isn’t a big deal but it makes you wonder how hard he’ll play for this team when they start 0-3 and he sees they aren’t any good. They haven’t even played a game yet and he’s already turned on the organization. What is the point if him doing this? He’s so clueless he thinks  he doesn’t deserve to be fined.

Maybe he thought Gruden and Mayock would be pushovers and he could do whatever he wanted. I doubt Tomlin or the PIT GM allowed him to thumb his nose at them. He's on thin ice with the Raiders, unless they do well and he plays well and quiets down he'll be gone before they move to Vegas.

I don't follow the intricacies of the Steelers, but from what I understand, Tomlin did let him get away with a lot.  Chronically showing up late, throwing tantrums, and they didn't make a big scene of it and just tolerated his behavior.  From what I recall reading Tomlin didn't love it, but felt that was the only way to manage him.  Now, with more money and maybe too many hits to the head, he just seems to be getting increasingly bizarre.  As others have mentioned, kind of makes you wonder if he even really wants to play anymore.

Yup, he's a strange cat. It sounds like they didn't do their homework before signing him. I'm sure they are regretting it now. I can't imagine this ending well.

Tomlin acknowledged in a presser after the news broke that he was sitting AB in week 17 that he had let things boil to long and the pot finally spilled over. He added that in some instances of extreme talent some distractions cold be ignored but at some point the distractions become more significant than the talent.

I don't know what happened with Mayock but the best thing the Raiders could do at this point is just get rid of him. Start leaving a paper trail. Enforce fines for everything and hope that he quits or acts so bizarre that you can just cut him.

You can't rule out that some of his behavior is medical not just personality. I don't know.
