notamomo
"Among the areas of focus was punt returns, where receivers Nate Burleson, Keenan Howry and Siaha Burley and running back Mewelde Moore got a chance to show what they can do. Howry is atop that portion of the depth chart right now, but Tillman did not rule out the possibility of Burleson getting the job." #1 WR as PR is not good, IMO. Who does he think he is, Tim Brown? T-Scorp
Tice has said recently that Moe Williams will be the #2 back and that Bennett and Moore will be battling for the #1 position with the loser becoming the #3 back. While on the surface that sounds totally stupid, if you think about it, it does make sense. Williams is going to be the 3rd down/goal line back he has always been and thus will be the "second" back off the bench. The starter (Bennetts job to lose) will be the starter and the #3 back (Moore) will start if Bennett gets hurt. Now I may be giving Tice too much credit and he maybe just be talking stupid....
