Jerry Porter Injured

Jerry Porter could miss up to two weeks with hamstring injury.

An MRI revealed no tear, merely a strain. Since Ronald Curry isn't practicing every day, Doug Gabriel will take snaps with the first team. If Porter returns well before week one, it's not a major concern. But keep an eye on him. Aug. 3 - 1:14 pm et

Now who do you take: Burleson vs Porter?

I just think this proves my contention that Burleson does in fact have stronger and less injury prone hamstrings than Porter.  Discuss...

he should workout here in philly at the novacare complex...

they have wonderful underwater treadmills that'll shape that hammy right up! :D

I absolutely hate hammy injuries. :D

Even though the MRI came back negative for a tear, if I had to draft right now...........

..........it'd be Burleson in a New York second.

Sorry Porter, I pimped you hot & heavy....but it's the hammy dontcha know :violin:

I just hope Curry heals faster than Porter.

Curry's been in rehab for 6+ months. Ruptured Achilles tendons take 9+ months to fully-recover. If there's one thing I'm an expert on, it'd be that. Just ask the 8" scar on the back of my leg. :D

Honestly, I don't think he'll be a factor in the early part of the season.
