MikeTice
We're looking for a few good huddlers. Open Teams Team 1 -- 5th pick Arrington, J.J. (1) [1st round pick to keep] Bennett, Drew (4) [4th round pick to keep] Brady, Tom (7) Collins, Kerry (9) DEF, TB (10) Droughns, Reuben (9) Edinger, Paul (10) Hackett, D.J. (10) Henry, Travis (6) Jackson, Steven (4) Johnson, Keyshawn (10) Jones, Matt (10) Jurevicius, Joe (10) McCardell, Keenan (10) Owens, Terrell (1) Welker, Wes (10) So the way I understand it - Team one keeps Steven Jackson and TO and is out it's 1st and 4th round pick. Nice start but not anything to take to the bank. Team 2 -- lottery pick (dice roll w/ 3 others to determine 1st 4 draft positions) Also has 1.12 pick via trade in 2005. Thus, has 2 1st round picks Alstott, Mike (10) Bennett, Michael (1) Betts, Ladell (10) Culpepper, Daunte (1) Curtis, Kevin (10) DEF, CAR (7) Edwards, Braylon (5) Evans, Lee (6) Faulk, Marshall (7) Frerotte, Gus (10) Gabriel, Doug (10) Glenn, Terry (10) McNair, Steve (10) Robinson, Marcus (10) Rogers, Charles (8) Vinatieri, Adam (10) Team 2 keeps Curtis and Edwards and gives up a 5th and 10th round pick and can go RB, RB, RB and not worry about WR for a while. Or don't keep anyone and have a fun draft. Team 3 -- 8th pick Alexander, Shaun (0) [2 1st round picks to keep] Boller, Kyle (10) Brunell, Mark (10) Dayne, Ron (10) DEF, JAX (10) DEF, SEA (10) Fitzgerald, Larry (6) Jones, Greg (10) Kennison, Eddie (9) Lelie, Ashley (4) Plummer, Jake (5) Portis, Clinton (1)Trade to team 2 for a 1st so you can keep Alexander...right? Rhodes, Dominic (10) Scobee, Josh (10) Taylor, Fred (3) Williams, Roy (3) Keep Alexander (but lose 2 first round picks), Keep Fitz and Williams for your 3rd and 6th. Edit to add red comment above 1468405 This is the way I would play with these teams - throw me in the hat. Gopher
This is the way I would play with these teams - throw me in the hat. 1470334 Actually...... I think you would get more value by keeping Droughns for a 9th than TO for a 1st, given TO's track record the past couple of years. I would probably go with Jackson, Droughns, and either M. Jones (10) or Brady (7) for my 3rd keeper. Agree with your strategy on team 2, but I would keep Evans (6) before Edwards (5). Might consider keeping both and starting with 3 WR keepers. Team 3 has a lot of options, but I wouldn't consider keeping Roy Williams to be one of them. That guy has burned me too many times, and I would have to imagine that he could be had next year later than the 3rd round in most drafts. I might even consider trading Alexander to someone for another stud (to take advantage of the pro-trade clause) and get that stud at the price of a 2nd round pick, thus allowing yourself to keep Portis (1), Stud #2 (2), and either Fitz (6), Jones (10), Dayne (10), or Rhodes (10). In fact, this team has so much keeper potential, I would probably try to deal a couple of the guys above for future picks, rather than let them go to "waste" and re-enter the draft pool, where guys like Jones, Dayne, and Rhodes might be drafted in rounds 2-4 as opposed to being kept for a 10th. Just my opinion.....Interesting concept, to say the least. Is it too late to enter my name???? Edit: Although, your original idea of trading Portis for a second 1st (if that makes sense), and keeping Alexander (1), Fitz (6), and Jones (10) looks very intriguing. bushwacked
• The OUTRAGED forum will be unlocked and the wannabees will answer a list of questions. • The current OUTRAGED brethren will vote on the wannabees, and the 3 top vote-getters will be inducted. Love BOTH leagues and will join more, but you fudgers need to get a grip. Why don't you guys change your league name to the metrosexuals? This is wholeheartedly gay sounding. Do I get a muffin if I enter my name and get picked?
