Big Country Posted June 21, 2006 Share Posted June 21, 2006 We did this last year, so this poll is just for a gauge of interest in doing it again. Essentially each team consisted of 20 ranked poker players (may reduce that to 10 this year) with points awarded based on top 10 finishes multiplied by their ranking on each team. Double points are awarded for the Main Event, and I think I will give double points for the toughest tournament this year, the $50K buy-in HORSE tournament, the true test of who is the best poker player. I believe the first tourney starts just after the 4th of July (need to double check that), so, if there is sufficient interest expect to see an official sign-up and roster submission thread early next week which will have the more detailed version of the rules. I thought I finished it up, but I think once you got the lead everyone else said they couldn't bear to live with you on the boards if you held on to win.... Last year you simply picked a slate of 20 or so and ranked them in order. The better the guys in the top of your list did the better you do.
