Deacon Bill
Took the wife and 20 year old daughter to see "Ghost Rider". I really wasn't expecting much, but I gotta' admit, I'm glad I went. Nicholas Cage and Sam Elliot did a great job, and Eva Mendes was easy on the eyes. I'll definitely buy it when it comes out on DVD. JMO. jetsfan
I was entertained. I don't think I'd watch it again, but the wife and I both thought it was enjoyable for the time we spent. Maybe it was because we had a babysitter
Egret
One of my favorite comics as a kid. That and Punisher. I'm going to see it tonight. I'm not expecting much.

cliaz
It totally looks horrible. Was the store somewhat good?
wildcat2334
It totally looks horrible. Was the store somewhat good? Agreed - when I saw the trailer I thought it was an SNL skit. Nic Cage ridin some Harley up the side of a building.....
Egret
As a fan of the comic, I liked it. It is what it is. I remember reading the comic growing up. I skipped a lot of the talking to get to the action. I could've skipped Nick Cage to see more flaming skull action.

Pope Flick
Does it have the right amount of tongue in cheek cheese? I got a sense from the trailers that they might be going in that direction, and Cage is pretty good at pulling that off. Comic geek that I am, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a halfway decent film from out of nowhere.
Dirty Sanchez
I've never been a comic book person, so I went in not knowing what to expect other than the trailer made me think this movie was going to be stupid. I thought the scenes when he was the ghost rider were cool, but the scenes when he was johnny blaze were pretty bad. I don't know if it was the script or just bad acting, but I thought this movie definitely was not worth the price of admission. Save your money and wait for it to come out on DVD. muck
It looks bad. I don't know the comic. I probably won't see it until it hits cable for free...
Deacon Bill
Well if you're going to see it because you want intellectual stimulation, a spiritual epiphany, and/or Oscar winning performances, then yea; it pretty much sucks. But if you're going because you enjoyed the comic book series, or it's premise; it lives up to it's billing.
darin3
And just look at the size of those.... She admittedly gained weight to make her hooters bigger for the role. Her character's actually supposed to be a buxom blonde, so she wanted to get at least one of those right.
Caveman_Nick
It looks bad. I don't know the comic. I probably won't see it until it hits cable for free... It wasn't bad. If you go to it accepting that it is a comic book movie, it's fairly entertaining. No oscars are in the queue, but it was fun.
