It kills me not to vote for Terrell Davis.

But I did vote for Shannon Sharpe. He was a highly productive position-definer, and good God, look at the rings, man!

Edit: Never mind. That says "Sterling"... I have Broncos on the brain.

Had Sharpe not had his neck problem, he would have been there. He played for seven seasons and topped 1100 yards five times but he seems to just be short of what the HOF would be about. If he could have played for maybe 3 more years I would think he would be a definite candidate. Too bad really because he was that good.

Terrell Davis was about the best player in the league for 3 seasons, but not quite a long enough resume.

I voted Guy and Monk.

"Just short"? The ONLY way he is short of HoF standards is by gross numbers - on a per-season basis, he's as good a WR as there was. Led the league in receptions three times in a 7 year span - what more is a guy supposed to do?

Many wouldn't list him on such a list but while he was playing he was dominant.
