www.hoganflys.com
Hey all... I was reading Mark St. Amant's book, "Committed" last week and was reminded how long I have been playing fantasy football. I began thinking about all of the "sleepers" and must have's of yesteryear. What are some of your favorite players from the past that made a difference on your team, was overhyped or just a flash in the pan? that have long been forgotten? My short list of some more recent players. Bam Morris Jay Reimersma Skip Hicks Lamar Smith Trung Canidate Garrison Hearst I thought this would be a fun drill... Randall
Man, he was a monster for a few years in the mid 90's during the Lions glory years. The Lions glory years? That's an oxymoron. Kind of like Vikings superbowl dominance.

loaf
my first year was 94. After Week 1, I dropped Jake Reed and picked up Terrance Mathis. Rode him all the way to the Championship Game where I lost. But a great first season...
whomper
my first year was 94. After Week 1, I dropped Jake Reed and picked up Terrance Mathis. Rode him all the way to the Championship Game where I lost. But a great first season... My first year in fantasy was Eddie Georges rookie year..Very early in that season I traded Anthony Miller for Eddie George. People laughed at trading for a rookie rb since Miller was a great wr but I got to the superbowl and basically had the game won to the point where after the 1 oclock games the guy I was playing shook my hand and said congrats (the reverse). Then in the 4 oclocks Terry Allen inhialted the Cowboys who sat all of their starters on D since they had everything locked up and I lost Edited August 26, 2007 by whomper
