DirecTV will be here Sept. 10 (it's my own fault for not setting up installation sooner) to hook me up just in time for the season's first MNF game. When I mentioned my concern about the $300 price tag on the HD-DVR receiver I was getting, the nice DirecTV guy said he'd waive the fee and send it for free. I asked him which men room I needed to meet him in. He claimed that that wasn't necessary. Can't wait to see my beloved Saints running roughshod through the NFC in glorious high-def this season. A lot of folks expect them earlier. They have the clearance from the FCC to fire it up once it's in place, so it will be sooner rather than later.
