Gopher
I'd put James Jones in there over CJ.
loaf
I'd put James Jones in there over CJ. Even Anthony Gonzalez. Though if CJ hadn't gotten hurt...though I can't help but look at players from a fantasy perspective and I lose sight of the overall picture. Did CJ help his team more than JJ or AZ? Did he make the Defense adjust for him which opened up McDonald more?
Randall
I'd pick Crosby over Folk but both were very close. I thought Folk faded down the stretch.
loaf
I'd pick Crosby over Folk but both were very close. I thought Folk faded down the stretch. of course the homer would. Folk made 83% of his FGs compared to 79% for Crosby. I think that's how they measure Kickers
Randall
of course the homer would. Folk made 83% of his FGs compared to 79% for Crosby. I think that's how they measure Kickers I have both in different leagues. It isn't a homer pick. I think down the stretch Crosby was better. Crosby made 31 fieldg goals. Folk made 26. His percentage was 4 points lower but he had more opportunities. What's more important efficiency or points? Both were good. I thought Crosby was better down the stretch. It's just an opinion Loaf. Also think CJ was the best choice for WR.
Chief
Except for the fact CJ had hands of bricks.
keggerz
David Harris did not play OLB and Beason did start outside but played the majority of the season at MLB Edited January 12, 2008 by keggerz
CaptainHook
Pro Football Weekly/Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie team.DT Ed Johnson, Colts Not bad for an undrafted free agent. He becomes only the fourth rookie to start every game for a defending Super Bowl champ, and the first undrafted free agent to do so. He has done and incredible job. piratesownninjas
of course the homer would. Folk made 83% of his FGs compared to 79% for Crosby. I think that's how they measure Kickers Crosby outscored Folk... Crosby also plays in much tougher conditions. Crosby fo sho.

muck
Who had the best drafts last year: Baltimore: OG Ben Grubbs, Ravens KR Yamon Figurs, Ravens Buffalo: QB Trent Edwards, Bills RB Marshawn Lynch, Bills Indianapolis: OT Tony Ugoh, Colts DT Ed Johnson, Colts (yes, I know he was undrafted ... but he is a part of the rookie class) Miami: C Samson Satele, Dolphins PR Ted Ginn Jr., Dolphins Minnesota: RB Adrian Peterson, Vikings DE Brian Robison, Vikings NY Jets: OLB David Harris, Jets CB Darrelle Revis, Jets Tampa Bay: OG Arron Sears, Buccaneers DE Gaines Adams, Buccaneers Carolina: OLB Jon Beason, Panthers Chicago: TE Greg Olsen, Bears Cinncinati: CB Leon Hall, Bengals Cleveland: OT Joe Thomas, Browns Dallas: PK Nick Folk, Cowboys Detroit: WR Calvin Johnson, Lions Houston: DT Amobi Okoye, Texans Jacksonville: S Reggie Nelson, Jaguars Kansas City: WR Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs Pittsburgh: P Daniel Sepulveda, Steelers San Diego: ST Brandon Siler, Chargers San Francisco: MLB Patrick Willis, 49ers Washington: S LaRon Landry, Redskins Atlanta Arizona Denver Green Bay New England New Orleans New York Giants Oakland Philadelphia Tennessee Seattle St. Louis
Randall
Who had the best drafts last year: Buffalo: QB Trent Edwards, Bills RB Marshawn Lynch, Bills I'd add Poz to Buffalo's. Before the injury he looked good.
Furd
Calvin Johnson was a non-entity this year. I don't think that he had an impact on any game, and his stats were medicore. I think that James Jones got robbed. [ Edit: I take this back, after looking at Jones' statistics.] Edited January 12, 2008 by Furd
Randall
But who led the league in points? Crosby's just slightly the better FF kicker. Hey you can't pick a Green Bay Packer player. You have to recuse yourself.

That's your opinion. Those 2 players were both close so either could have been selected.
