Wolverines Fan
I think we can all agree that it's time for Eli's critics in the media to shut the heck up.

rhino
Hats off to NYG and Eli. But, truly thought the MVP belonged to someone on the NYG Defense.

godtomsatan
Hats off to NYG and Eli. But, truly thought the MVP belonged to someone on the NYG Defense. Maybe, but that was an incredible 4th quarter performance by Manning. I have no qualms.
The Vatican Hitsquad
The Brady Killers After handing Brady and the Patriots the two most devastating defeats in Pats history ( and perhaps NFL), The Manning brothers should be collectively known as the Brady Killers. Oh, this includes Cooper too, as I think he has his eye on Giselle...
Outshined
Maybe, but that was an incredible 4th quarter performance by Manning. I have no qualms. But the defense played strong all game to put ELI in that position.
Bronco Billy
Someone ought to be interviewing Tiki about his statements about Manning & Coughlin, where he willfully & candidly threw both guys under the bus publicly at the start of the season. If he's going to air dirty laundry in the manner that he did, he ought to be held to account for it. If he's going to air dirty laundry in the manner that he did, he ought to be held to account for it. I think he told the truth about both of them, but they were determined to prove him wrong and they did. Eli has become more of a vocal leader and Coughlin became less of a drill sergeant type of coach, actually listening to players and involving them more. Almost getting fired may have given Coughlin a wake up call. Hiring Spagnolo was a great move too.

Beaumont
I have not seen it, but supposedly Tiki interviewed Eli Manning re: what it took to get them to the Superbowl and win it and his response was something to the effect of: "Having the right people here." detlef
Hats off to NYG and Eli. But, truly thought the MVP belonged to someone on the NYG Defense. Right up until the end, I was really wondering who would win the thing. Especially if the Pats won it. There was really nobody on the Pats that stepped up the whole game. Do you give it to Brady on the strength of mustering just one great drive the entire game? However, as well as the Giants D played all game (obviously great), had it not been for Manning, it would have simply been a gutty loss. Those of us who took the 11.5 would have at least had that to be happy about, but that's little consolation to them. So, it was Manning that ultimately brought home the W (and made those of us who also bet half as much as we did with the points on the Giants outright at +330, really, really happy but that's another story entirely). The problem is, it was the D as a whole that stepped up. Certainly Tuck was great, but they were rotating D linemen all game long and every one of them did their jobs. Hell, when the rook bull rushed the middle and laid Brady on his ass at the end. Just yet another great play by the D line. When in doubt, it always goes to the QB. Hell, Brady got it over Vrabel one year when Vrabel had a once in a lifetime stat line for a LB.

Still, pretty funny ...
