Jimmy Neutron
My FIL, who had been suffering from Parkinson's for many years, found relief yesterday. It was about as sweet and whole as the death experience can be - his wife, all his kids (& spouses) and all the older grandkids were at his bedside. We'd all been praying he'd be released the prison his body became, but there was a lot of sadness in his actual passing. That's to be expected, I guess. Dewey put up a hell of a fight against that disease - an example I'll always be grateful for. His daughter is a keeper too. Good on ya, Dew - hope you're swingin' a club and enjoying a morning run on the other side...

Perchoutofwater
Sounds like a blessing, but still it sucks losing someone you love even if you know you will see them again eventually.

CaP'N GRuNGe
Wow - hope she is doing ok - that's a lot of loss in a short period of time. Thanks Jimmy. Family is doing OK. We got to go spend the week with her parents and it helped them to see our kids to get their minds off things a bit. Still pretty surreal to have them go one after the other like that though.
