muck
I have nothing substantive to offer anyone other than the following observations: San Diego will suck eggs w/o LT2 and VJax (for the first few games) and w/ Merriman being a shadow of his former self (plus, how far will you really ever get with Norv as your coach?). Denver will suck eggs w/o anyone in the backfield and McNumbnutz coaching. Oakland will suck eggs because they're Oakland and they're good at sucking. KC will rock the house because Eric Berry was exactly who we needed to overcome all of the incompetence elsewhere. Predictions: Outside the division: 0-8-0 SD 0-8-0 DEN 0-8-0 OAK 0-7-1 KC Inside the division: 0-0-8 SD 0-0-8 DEN 0-0-8 OAK 0-0-8 KC OVERALL: 0-8-8 SD 0-8-8 DEN 0-8-8 OAK

Menudo
I seriously believe that Kansas City has a VERY good shot at winning the AFC West. The Chiefs are definitely a team on the rise, and I expect a very good year from them. I still think San Diego will be tough, but, the Chiefs winning the AFC West would not be a shock. MTSuper7
It would for those of us on earth. The Chiefs fool us into thinking they're decent because they look decent against Denver and Oakland, and they always get bottom feeders like Cleveland and Buffalo on their schedule. That's the ONLY reason they might finish with a respectable record. Best case - they win 4 of 6 games in their division (sweep Denver, split with Oakland and San Diego). Then they have to win 5 of the following: @ Cleveland, San Fran, @ Indy, @ Houston, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Arizona, @ Seattle, @ St. Louis, and Tennessee. Winnable games are Cleveland, Buffalo, Seattle, St. Louis, Arizona and even Jacksonville (who lays eggs on the road often enough). Hard to admit, but 10-6 isn't out of the question with this cupcake schedule. Edited August 7, 2010 by MTSuper7
JoJoTheWebToedBoy
If San Diego doesn't get it's act together, I give Oakland a damm good shot
RaiderSteve
Actually things have changed in Oakland! Hue Jackson, a good draft, and finally a QB that's actually NFL caliber and not on that Purple drank..finally a bit of hope!

Chargerz
My prediction: It'll take more than Jackson and McNeill sitting out the first 10 games for the Chargers to lose this division, and that AIN'T gonna happen. TimC
C'mon man you don't play 8 games inside the division! You obviously forgot the 2 games against fear and desperation in the AFC West.

Seahawks21
I see the Chiefs as now having the worst QB in the division. I think the Cowboys are just about the only team in football that can still win a division that way.

I don't really see Campbell or Orton as being measurably better... not that that's saying anything positive for Cassel. They're all crapola.
