driveby
Hope this hasn't been done before, but I thought it might be interesting to throw out the name of a band or solo act and see what everyone's favorite song is by that artist. Let's see if we can run about a page per artist with the top of the next page poster getting the honor of naming the next band. I'll kick it off with Led Zeppelin. Lots of options here but I think I've narrowed it down to either Over The Hills and Far Away or Kashmir. Have to go with Kashmir, my final answer. Cameltosis
Tough one. I gotta go with the Rain Song. Yep. And I love pretty much all they have done. But this...is an almost perfect song.
Azazello1313
Off the top of my head probably Whole Lotta Love. +1. or, though it's cliche, stairway to heaven.
Kid Cid
I will always be in the minority here but Dazed and Confused always was tops for me.

matt770
I will always be in the minority here but Dazed and Confused always was tops for me. Definitely one of my all-time favorites. I also like The Ocean, Nobody's Fault but Mine, and When the Levee Breaks. So many great songs, hard to pick just one.
Controller
After hearing Joe Bonamassa's cover of Tea for One, it has become my all-time favorite Zepellin tune. Edit to add: the blues just don't get much better than the solo from around 4:14 to 6:18 Edited September 15, 2010 by Controller

untateve
This is really difficult. I love Black Dog and Whole Lotta Love. There are times when I must hear Rock and Roll. In my youth, when I enjoyed illegal substances, Dazed and Confused was a staple for me. I still, on occasion, sing this to my wife: Lots of people talk and few of them know, soul of a woman was created below.
Ursa Majoris
Stairway To Heaven is indeed cliched but still great. I'll throw out there In My Time Of Dying. Wonderful demonstration of this band's unique versatility.

matt770
The Stones are another one where it's impossible to pick just one song. I'm going to say Tumbling Dice, Little T&A, and Waiting on a Friend. But I could easily list 25 more that I like a lot. Gotta pass on the Doors, not a fan.
