Brentastic
Haha! Sweet! Yup. I just wish you could customize the NFL Mix channel (702) to watch anywhere from 2-8 games at once. I hate that I can only watch 8 games. why not 2 or 4 or 6??

whomper
In a separate story the citizens of Detroit have taken to the streets rioting as this is the first time a pro team with more than 3 wins will play a home game in Detroit since the Alex Karras era

I hate that I can only watch 8 games. why not 2 or 4 or 6?? You can't mix the games because some are blacked out in their respective markets. That's why some games don't appear on the mix channel, but you can get them on their respective channel.

CaP'N GRuNGe
Will the game be nationally televised? Saw pics of the dome a while ago. Nice. I would think any new stadium...if it ever happens...would be smarter to go with an actual roof rather than parachute fabric. That is if they go for a roof at all. I'm assuming a free game for the fans in Detroit as they did with the Chargers game in Tempe a couple years ago. Moss6
Monday's game will be broadcast on Fox in the New York City, Minneapolis, Rochester and Mankato, Minn., markets. The game will also be available to Sunday Ticket subscribers on DirecTV. Any ticket holders for the original Giants-Vikings game will be admitted and given preferred seating along the 50-yard line. Free general admission tickets to the game will be available at the Ford Field box office beginning Monday at 9 a.m. ET. Refunds will be given for all original tickets holders. Chadman
This is (initially) freaking bullcrap for me. I had original tickets through Stubhub, they just sent me an e-mail saying the game had been recheduled to a new venue and that Ford Field will be accepting original tickets. "Unfortunately" no refunds will be given to ticket holders. How in the world is this an acceptable business practice. The Vikings are issuing full refunds for those who can't/don't go to the game, but Stubhub just keeps all the frickin' money for those that use their business for tickets and offer a "Fan Guarantee" on tix? Not happy about this at all. Sitting on $315 worth of firestarter right now.
gilthorp
Good lawsuit material if places like StubHub don't do the right thing here...

Chadman
Im probably out of luck, considering Stubhub just takes my money and pays the original ticket holder who sold through them. Maybe the Vikes would refund me at face value, I don't know. I'd guess they have pretty specific records for refunding, but not sure why they'd care too much if the amounts were equal. They advertise fans selling tix through Ticketmaster on their site, that might make things worse, too.
Chadman
UPDATE: VERY impressed with Stubhub. New e-mail says we're entitled to a full refund, sending the tix back to them. Hopefully it will be an ACTUAL full refund, but very happy to recoup some of it, at least. Will definitely use them again, and I feel bad about bitching about them before... nice job, Stubhub!
