Browns have named Norv Turner OC

I guess he finally got back from his vacation in Hawaii, I heard that is all they were waiting for. Link has some additional notes on other assistant coaches that were hired or retained.

Also hearing that Raheem Morris is set to interview with Browns this week for the DC position.

Why would Bruce want that job? Hopefully he realizes it'd be better to stay in Indianapolis.

Age 60? This might be his best and last chance to become a HC in the NFL. I don't see the NFL with this much turnover at the HC position for many years.

Trestman just confirmed on live presser that DC Rob Marinelli WILL be moving on.

Yup. The rumors about Marinelli staying were wrong.

Trestman wanted him to stay, but Marinelli said no thanks. :(

Per rotoworld:

The Bears have parted ways with holdover OC Mike Tice, WRs coach Darryl Drake, and OL coach Tim Holt.

Tice is widely respected for his work as an offensive line guru, but he's overmatched as a schemer and play-caller. New coach Marc Trestman has hired Aaron Kromer to take his responsibilities. We will certainly miss Drake's annual declarations about Devin Hester becoming one of the top receivers in the NFL.

Good moves. What they said about Tice is true. Drake had been there for a while and the receivers never improved.

I wouldn't mind having Mike Tice here in SD as an OL coach. Him or Russ Grimm
