Shorttynaz
"PHOENIX - Warren Sapp has been arrested for soliciting a prostitute in Phoenix. The former NFL defensive tackle was taken into custody at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Phoenix around 7:00 a.m. on Monday. ABC15 confirmed with Phoenix police that Sapp was arrested on one count of solicitation of a prostitute and two counts of assault. Sapp reportedly met two women in the lobby of the hotel before they went back up to his hotel room. They started discussing money and some type of altercation occurred. The victims then left the hotel and flagged down an officer to report the incident. Sapp was in Phoenix to cover the Super Bowl for the NFL Network. The 42-year-old played for the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before being elected to the NFL Hall of Fame in 2013." http://www.abc15.com...enix-prostitute Edited February 2, 2015 by Shorttynaz

DMD
At 7 AM in the morning??? I am pretty sure I never woke up thinking "must hire two prostitutes". Oh wait. That was the arrest time. So he was probably hiring them at 6 AM. Wow. There's some room service.

darin3
You're a multimillionaire. You wake up and are feelin' a little frisky. Wouldn't you just call up one of your entourage? No, not to come "help ya out" in that regard.... but I'm sure if you paid your boy a few hundred he could go out and do all the "research" to make it happen. Dumb. Bye! Cowboyz1
Turns out those two "Escorts" are proving to be the most expensive piece in the city. Stupid Stupid Stupid, peeling off a few more 100's was all that stood between home in bed and behind bars, unemployed and disgraced. Papajohn
Being so dumb that you lose your job because you are unable to buy hookers is a special kind of dumb. How he even had a job as an analyst in the first place is even dumber.
BA Baracus
So are the prostitutes also charged, you know, with prostitution? Or are we just focused on the celebrity?
Zooty
So are the prostitutes also charged, you know, with prostitution? Or are we just focused on the celebrity? read the article. The one was charged. He never would have got caught if he didn't get into an altercation with them in the hallway at 3 am. Dumb ass

You give these dumb former athletes too much credit. I had read that in 2012 Sapp declared bankruptcy after pissing through some $80+ million dollars he earned. Many other athletes get charged with possession of drugs, or partying in public. Why not let your people carry your stuff, and party at home or in a private room somewhere. Because they are dumb, or think they are untouchable. "Don't you know who I am?" Going to miss him trying to shut up (or out shout) Irvin on NFL Game Day morning. They need somebody equally as obnoxious as Irvin to combat him.

Goopster24
Heard an interview on NPR with Sapp a year or two back about his bankruptcy. Appreciated his honesty about the situation. This is too bad. I liked what he brought to Gameday. Oh well, he'll come back.
