tazinib1
BTW: Stewart leaves as the Franchise's All-Time leading rusher. The 1.13 pick in the 2008 draft. He needs to still play and will be a valuable asset to any team. Who would be the best fit for Stew????? A playoff contender I hope. stevegrab
The Browns are not expected to keep Isaiah Crowell, and are looking at a veteran back to be added, reportedly plan to interview Chris Ivory.
michaelredd9
Stewart's ypc has steadily declined each of the last 3 years. He averaged 3.4 ypc last year. All he can do well at this point in his career is pass block. But he isn't suited to be a 3rd down back because he is a poor receiver. Maybe he could be an asset on a pass-heavy team with a quarterback like Andrew Luck who needs all the pass protection he can get. Bier Meister
He was so inconsistent last year and generally not productive. 2 games over 100, 10 games less than 50. He is not at a place where he could lead a backfield..... Maybe supplement it.

Can he lead an offense as the #1 back? Probably not. That time has sadly passed. But he would make an excellent 3rd down back for a contender. And to say he is a poor receiver is ridiculous lol. The stats don't correlate with the shift in offensive targets from Dipmanure Superman. You don't have 47 receptions in 1 year if you are a poor receiver lol. kdko
I think it's gonna be tough for him to find work this year. He should just move to fullback and block all game! Edited March 2, 2018 by kdko

To build upon the most mediocre backfield in the league...? They need to fulfill that need in the draft with as stacked as it is. Gopher
For what it's worth, Stewart's parents lived around the corner from me in the greater Seattle (Olympia) area. Maybe he's wanting to finish his career close to home.
