muck
"Winslow Jr? Is he capable of being A Gates?" How can one person be another person? Are you into science fiction, man? Or are you talking FF?
Sox
Guy at work is a big Browns fan,and wears a Winslow jersey all of the time. He was less than pleased with me when I pointed out that he could take it off, burn it now,and Winslow still would never wear his as much before the end of his career. AZZURRI
Pre-injury, KWII was a force. If he is healthy, I think he could put up Gates-like numbers--if he's in the right system. Those are a couple of big ifs.....but I think he'll at least be a top 5 TE this year. In college he was a far better talent than Shockey who is doing quite well. McBoog
He needs a system that exploits those talents. Talents that he doesn't seem to possess, physically OR metally. He is nothing more than a coddled and spoiled pro's son. NO

AZZURRI
Isn't Brady turning Ben Watson into the new Gates? Ben Watson is a freakish athlete, as evidenced by his running down of Champ Bailey, but he will not get enough looks in the Pats offense to become a Gates or Gonzalez. I think that's what makes the Pats so good--you never know who is going to have a big game. Watson will probably have 3-4 huge games but also have many where he spends most of his time blocking. gasface
If he stays healthy and focused, he could put up sick #s... Gates is tough to compare to (if he keeps his pace up, he will be the best TE ever), but he could certainly be a top 3 TE

He wears the jersey to a player who has only played 2 games in his entire career. Instead of say, Bernie Kosar. Or Jim Brown. Or Clay Matthews. Or any other Brown from history who actually made a contribution to the team besides salary cap hit and a off season sound byte.
