Scooby's Hubby
Sean Lee ® LB Dallas. He will feed off of Brooking and learn to take that role over next year in Dallas. I see him rotating in with Brooking and also dominating punt and KO coverage, which Dallas badly needs. He will be an excellent replacement and fill in for any injured Dallas LB (which there will be various injuries here throughout the season, most likely Brooking b/c of his more reckless playing style) Edited August 3, 2010 by Scooby's Hubby
'canes2004
Dolphins - Brian Hartline WR. He has looked great in camp so far. He runs nice crisp routes and can really pile up the RAC yardage when he gets into the secondary. It's a battle between him and Greg Camarillio for the #2 WR spot next to Brandon Marshall (who will be drawing double coverage or the opposing teams' #1 CB) and right now Hartline has the edge to be the #2 guy in an offense that will throw the ball around more this season. Ziachild007
Arian Foster HOU RB Slaton will be used as more of a traditional 3rd down back and Tate will be used to spell Foster and as a short yardage specialist this year. I have a feeling Tate will be nagged by injuries all season.

I recall reading a story about him joining a track team and taking on the 110 highs. He did so badly, his mom wanted him to quite. He didn't and went about studying the angles and timing and such with the hurdles and ended up being all state. perhaps premature - but he reminds me of Welker
i_am_the_swammi
While he has a ways to go to make up ground on the depth chart (certainly behind Jackson, Maclin & Avant), in the Eagles pass-heavy offense which utilizes many four WR sets, he could be a possession-WR factor as the season progresses. He certainly is a big red-zone target. In just a day, it is being widely specualted that Cooper will make the team with ease. And with the injuries to Maclin and Jackson, he will now be running with the 1st team offense for much of pre-season, alongside Avant. CarryTheRock
The title of this thread says "Your homer sleepers". Stallworth is the ultimate homer and probably won't do jack, but he is on his final leg of his career. He has the speed that Baltimore has lacked and with the addition of Boldin, it only add potential for a number 2 WR. So far, Stallworth has looked sharp in FSTC. Right...how many favorite teams you have to name Homers from? At least five by your post and one...maybe two by your screen name. Being a Saints fan I will say Lynell Hamilton, but with Pierre Thomas getting dinged up he may not be considered one by the time the season starts
kpholmes
Offense: Chaz Schilens, WR #1 on the depth chart, if he stays healthy could put up some mid-range WR2 numbers. Everyone seems to be picking Louis Murphy over him because of Murphy's season last year, but when Schilens is in the game, he is an above-average possession receiver that Campbell is going to come to rely on. Defense: Matt Shaughnessy, DE Lots of movement an uncertainty on the front three/four in Oakland, but this kid has impressed everyone from the minute he joined the club. If not right away, eventually this season he'll be a four down defensive end, and with Richard Seymour getting attention on the other side, he'll continue to impress and turn heads. I actually agree with you here. I think with the addition of Marshall will excite this young player and with Marshall capturing a majority of the cover 2, Hartline could have a breakout year. forever in debt to mo lewis
Patriots: Brandon Tate, Speedy WR out of North Carolina. If he can stay healthy, should be able to stretch the field for Brady.... yuuuppppp all indications point to him winning that job....we keep hearing how hes got his explosiveness back....lets just hope he can do some of the little things right and be where he is supposed to be....because i remember even chad jackson made a few plays here and there, stretching the field, in his limited action.... as much as the offense really revolves around welker....what really makes it go to another level is a reliable 3rd guy....guys like stallworth and gaffney were able to get it done....where galloway was a complete wash.... at best....i think you get a breakout star in tate and the offense can return to a level somewhat near what they did in 07....at worst i think you have a reliable guy, great route runner and sure hands guy, like holt catching 50 balls and the offense is still very good.....of course both are predicated on how fast they actually bring welker along....right now im gonna assume welker comes back and is pretty close to what he was....i just hope those kids, tate and price, are paying attention to the consumate pro torry holt...i think there is little doubt tate has the physical ability to be the guy....but he needs to know where he is going and how to get there

The Irish Doggy
I'll play... Bernard Scott (RB) Cin - Everyone is talking about the addition of TO, but The Bengals are still a running team. Scott will get more work than he did last year in order to keep Benson fresh. If Benson gets dinged and misses some time I don't see the running game suffering all that much. Scott proved last year that he's capable of carring the load if needed for a few game stretch. If Benson goes down I think you're looking at a top 10 FF back. Scott has always been overrated by this fantasy community. I'll take 3rd year receiver Jerome Simpson. Now there is a sleeper: 2 career catches in 2 years. It probably only happens if Chad gets hurt though.
bushwacked
Seahawks-- Not sure if Leon Washington is a small enough name to be considered a sleeper. The obvious choice here that everybody is talking about is Mike Williams (the receiver). He has lined up at the X with the 1st unit basically since he walked through the door (most teams would consider whoever plays the X to be their #1 WR). Housh is going to work from the slot whenever possible. Matt played pretty well with the only tall-ish receivers he has ever had here (Jurvy and Hackett). I know he has 39 catches in his entire career, but he should at least equal that mark somewhat easily. On the defensive side, Ricky Foley. He led the CFL in sacks last season, and as desperate as the Hawks are for a pass-rush, he'll get a shot to show what he can do. Mike Williams was the first name I thought of as there a pretty good chance some Hawk WR (besides Housh) can fill a #3 or flex type position. Although I'm hearing Deon Butler is also creating a buzz early on in camp. One of the 2 will probably separate himself for more PT, but I'm more leery of Williams living up to the hype. Cowboyz1
I have to agree with you Scoobs Hubby, Sean Lee has been lights out so far. He is gifted when it comes to recognition and learning his position. The kid hardly makes any mistakes as quoted by Phillips and Campo. That is saying a lot for a 3-4 Rookie linebacker. We don't have any real deep sleepers per se on the team in my opinnion, however, I think Bennent is going to have a very good year. As good as it can be with Witten on the other side. I am really looking for Felix to fly this year. Barber and Choice will eat into his production though. Dez will open things up for all and I really see Dallas very balanced production wise but so many good players makes for lots of scoring but from many players. I will say this though, Dallas will be the highest scoring offense in the NFC this year.
